The best way to protect yourself from the Convention fever is to enjoy what you’ve already had! ♥️♥️♥️
Before the Style Lab collection, i always wish i could see Kyori 1.0 again but after the reveal, i find that she’s not what i expected and i have a better version here already on the shelve! Quick Silver is still the best Kyori 1.0 to me, and she proves that with this ensemble from Mad To Milan Poppy. 😍😍😍

Quick little shot of one of my two newest lovelies. (Well, sort of new. I've technically had both since April. ^^; ) I'm still trying to work out just who this little one is! Part of me thinks she's a perfect fit for Addy's cousin Josette buuut... I don't know. I'm not entirely convinced yet ha ha. ;P
Hope you're all having a wonderful wednesday!

I didn't think I would have time to do this IP before leaving for a few weeks. As luck would have it, this popped out at me while walking to the store.

Walking past this paperbark, the lorikeets and a very defensive mudlark took to the air.
I took a couple of really quick snaps with my phone and left them to it.
I stopped by the Chicago Botanical Garden for a quick walk and ran into some friends and we had a great photowalk together!! Colin had borrowed some extension tubes and so I got to try them out too, and had a real blast!! I have been really wanting to do macro for awhile so it was great to try out lots of angles and DOF choices etc...
This was the first time I ever got to do real macro work and it was so fun to just shoot with the tubes and my fast 50 and have a new world open up to me!! I ordered a set as soon as I got home!! :-)
I also want to give credit where credit is due! A lot of the ideas for the DOF, comp and focus point of my new macros came from following my friend and constant inspiration Celeste If you know her work, you will be nodding your head right now! And if you don't you REALLY need to check out the Queen of flowers stream and prepare your Favorites to get filled up!! Thank you Celeste!

My tools for grooming the Cairns with their double coats. I could not locate the nail trimmers. Did they hide them from me? They HATE when I trim nails! It is warming up here in Mobile, and the Cairns are uncomfortable with the dense winter undercoats, especially as it holds dirt from their digging adventures, or lying around in the leaves and mulch.
Made a quick stop on the way home today. This guy was hanging out on Chapman road.I was able to get comfortably close and watch the hunt for a little while.
