Today's airbrushed style pinup photo introduces a brand new face to Dietz Dolls, presenting Kirsten in this vintage United Airlines stewardess pinup! While this is a bit more revealing than the standard post-WW2 stewardess uniform for United in the late 1940s, it's not that too far off. The color of the uniform was a sort of grey with a hint of blue. Here Kirsten takes a moments pause to check her makeup before her flight on the DC-3 behind her begins to board.
Did you know you can order many of the pinups you see posted on here? Check out the Dietz Dolls online store where you can find military pinups, classic pinups, the propaganda pinup poster series, and lots more in sizes ranging from 8x10 prints to 24x36 posters! www.dietzdolls.com/catalog

Quick, let's get out of here! I spotted this Red Kite roosting in a tree. I couldn't get the camera on him quickly enough before he took off, but I really liked the wing shape he created.
Spent an hour with my man Lister who wanted a quick graff video, so an hours time limit was set, not happy with it, hate 94 for outlines, good afternoon,

After hanging out on Pan Am waiting for the high hood on FI-1 to head east, I started to head home and as I crossed over Pratt's Junction Crossing I saw the headlights gleaming on the rails. Nice quick stumble

This tiny butterfly is solid blue inside. I will keep an eye on it and try to get a photo of it's wings open.
.... but a lucky one, lol! Saw this little male Downy Woodpecker in Weaselhead two mornings ago, 3 December 2012. It was an absolute winter wonderland with snow and hoar frost covering everything and the sunlight was beautiful.
Playing today with a friend.....
Can you read the tiny words??
words were from the cookbook, A Pioneer Woman Cooks
"Oh, I can't believe it," I said as we pulled into the driveway, "the sun is almost down, and I still don't have a photo for the day."
"Look!" she said. "The horses are out! Quick you grab your camera, and I'll get the carrots!"
Tyrion didn't want to walk with me... he was too scared. I quickly looked at his teeth to determine his age, and since he seemed young, I felt comfortable to just pick him up, and walk off the ramp.
I thanked the two Los Angeles Animal Services officers who knew my rescue work and were very happy that he wouldn't end up in their shelter.
