Quick shot of her when we were picking apples this weekend...

My little niece pestered me to draw a frankie her. Not bad for a quick sketch!

When I mixed up a half batch of this quick fruit filled coffeecake that Julia just posted, I knew that I put it into too small a container to bake... But since I buttered the pan well, I just ran a knife around the outside and it turned right out.

It may look awful, but it was super tasty: not too sweet, and an excellent use for leftover jam-making pulp. Even though I had super seedy blackberry pulp, it was delicious! I used half wheat flour, half AP flour, yogurt for the buttermilk, and leftover crumble topping from these oatmeal muffins from 101 cookbooks that I had stashed in the freezer.

It was probably the fastest cake I ever put together.

A quick selfie while hiking along the Moses Spring Trail in Pinnacles NP. Certainly, the views are breathtaking up here! It's nice to get away from the city life once in a while... This was during our adventurous hiking trip to Pinnacles National Park this day. I went with my cousin along with Regina and her kids…

*Summary of our day: After a nice hour and a half or so drive, me and my cousin entered into Pinnacles National Park just before 9:30 a.m. We stopped a few times along the way to take pics. We met the rest of the crew when we were parking at our final destination, around the Bear Gulch Day Use Area. We then started our hike to the Bear Gulch Reservoir using the Moses Spring Trail. The caves were closed due to COVID-19 restrictions. Nonetheless, we still saw breathtaking landscapes and scenic views while hiking to the reservoir. We even stopped at a couple high points where I got a bit scared but braved the heights to take a few pics of the views. By 11-ish, we finally made it to the reservoir. There, we rested, ate a snack and took in the scenery. We then went up the Rim Trail continuing to take in the views while at the same time starting to head back to the parking lot. Certainly, all this hiking made us hungry so we decided to leave the park after 12:30 p.m. to get lunch. Me and my cousin were following Regina and them since they were leading us to their choice of food. We ended up eating at the Chipotle Mexican Grill around Hollister, CA. We had to drive for a bit to get signal for us to search for a place. We called it a day after lunch. ‘Til next time, safe travels everyone! (Hiking trip taken place Friday, ‎February ‎19, ‎2021)

Quick snapshot of a painting I did recently on a piece of board from Home Depot.

Opening up very quickly and caught this while there was a glimpse of Sunshine - This peach tree has very tasty peaches but are already reserved by the resident squirrels!

There also a small tree of this that grew from a peach seed I saved from weeds last year - will take a pic later.

The Revival is the world’s most popular historic motor race meeting and the only event of its kind to be staged entirely in the nostalgic time capsule of the 1940s, 50s and 60s that relives the glory days of Goodwood Motor Circuit. It is the biggest and best historic motor racing party of the year.

A quick and dirty 30-minutes-to-build pair of APCs meant as cannon fodder for my better builds.

A little scene to show how they interact with minifigs. No interior details whatsoever, and the minifigs just lay in there.

A quick tour of the Cape. Paarl rock, Table mountain and Lion's head. Even the Tygerberg is just visible between the Paarl rock and Table mountain. For those that do not know, the Paarl rock is like 50km from Table mountain! It looks a whole lot closer in this picture.

Just quick as I must go off to bed as been unwell all day, but my dad went up in the loft for me today and as a surprise brought down my old dolls house from when I was 6 yrs old. He hid it and said I had to find something in a pillow case. I expected it to be a stack of his washing. To my surprise when I looked inside I found this.

Instantly I felt like I did when I was 6 yrs old all over again. It really does need doing up, but decided now I will and I just remember that Christmas going to bed with a big smile, so I am off to do the same now, then you can see who else found it tomorrow xxx
