Some quick after work shots of Egon (now named Pelsan) in the other wig. Much better. :) Cruddy phone pics, but I'm so happy with him! Something about the extra blush just made this faceup attempt so much better for me.

After Chef Zambra teased me with his Baby Back Ribs I got hungry and I had to make something to eat. I didn't have much time so I made a quick pan fried Habanero Mango Chicken Sausage, toasted Semifredi's Ciabatta with organic sharp Monterrey Jack cheese and some secret goodness from Brasil (funky brazilian hot sauce)

A lunchtime special - beansprouts, shredded yellow pepper, carrot and cabbage were quickly stir fried along with Tianjin preserved vegetable, chili bean paste, and a splosh of rice wine, and then brought to the boil in a pan of chicken stock.
When I saw you at the shelter just over a year ago, something told me that you were meant to be our pet, despite the snotty nose and disheveled appearance. We were not really in the market for another animal since we already had 2 dogs and a cat. Your father initially thought I was crazy when I brought this tiny, dirty little cat home that smelled to high heaven, but you won him over very quickly. I could not find you that first night and I searched everywhere, only to find you snuggling in bed with him. You came to us with an open heart, and adjusted right away into our family. You especially loved your pet siblings & they loved you too. You loved to clean them off, especially Sam. You touched the hearts of everyone you came in contact with and always won over those who were not "cat lovers". It didn`t matter who it was, men, women, children, other animals. You were the first one to greet everyone when they came into our home. No matter how awful our day was, how stressed out we were, you were always there to give us many sandpaper kisses and wonderful headbutts. You had the greatest purrbox I`ve ever heard. You loved everyone and everything so much. In the short time you were with us, you taught us what unconditional love truly is. You never were very healthy, but when we took you to the vet that last time, we had no idea just how sick you were. Our hearts broke the day we had to set you free, but we knew it was the best decision for you. We did not want you to suffer. You were an amazing friend and are greatly missed by your mom, dad and your "sisters". We especially miss those kisses and snuggles you offered up so freely. I know God has a special place for you in heaven. We love you, Joe!
