I fell on my butt scrambling away from the camera.

Quick split. Go opposite ways and we'll confuse the geese :)

A derelict Convenience Store on Harry Hines

when first I moved to Dallas I worked just down the street. I used to drop in here and get Gasoline and a Coke on the way in.

The much bigger and fancier place across the street basically buried them.

I like the clerk who alway waited on me, he was sweet, liked blondes, and alway warned me if things were going sideways in the area (it was a VERY rough area back then).

Hope he is ok and doing well...

Here is a quick sample of some more of my latest pieces. There are 16 in total. I hope to put them all up at some point.

A quick birthday getaway. Gorgeous weather and perfect company.

chicken coconut milk soup. so good. i doggy-bagged half of it and heated it up the next day over brown rice. even better.

The tilt/shift lens can be tricky to use. I found myself moving the opposite way of what I needed to. It was also difficult to know what would work really good for this lens. I chose this limb because it was at an angle so I could practice getting it all in focus even though it was all at a different distance. There are spots on it that are not focused but overall I am happy with it. I took this photo into lightroom to add some vibrance to it because it was really dull.

with Nemu and Syrop, not the best wall for roller fills but we made it work

I was walking around the Galle fort, Sri Lanka and was lucky to meet a quick model, who posed for my camera without any hesitation.
