The Rail Bug has made another half-mile hop towards Honeybourne unloading new sleepers as First Great Western Turbo Express set 166212 passes with another 100 miles to run before it reaches London Paddington on Saturday, March 19, 2011.
I am wiping this faceup clean in a moment, not that it was finished anyway but it got some splashes on the face I tried to get off which has left it looking patchy.
So starting again. But good to know it has been re strung. Does anyone know anyone who has Littlefee El that was made into a girl because I am struggling because the face is still quite boyish.
Oh n yes those eyebrows need moving down, I know, it looks freaky, but you get the drift. I won't take this up as a hobbie, I am rubbish xxx
Ramona: Mommy! Give me a hug, quick! It's thundering and I'm scared!!
Me: Awww... Come here sweetie!
Tuesday 26th We packed up quickly; only mat, chairs, table and services to dismantle before we left at 9.30. After an unnecessary detour leaving La Fosca the journey went without hitch but not without traffic around Barcelona. The roads west are very few so it is necessary to go quite a distance S before turning W & N into the Pyrenees by motor/expressway. 2 tolls, no idea of cost of first but should be about 5€; second was 14€.
Arrived at Camping Boltana at 3pm. The campsite looked good and at first sight the position looks ideal, only problem being the temperature which was 35.5C. We put the bare awning up which took about 25mins and got settled before having a much needed shower followed by the ‘menu’ for 12€ in the site restaurant. 3 simple courses ideal for our needs. We went to bed in 28C. and woke 22C. but managed to sleep very well with our £6 wonder Asda fan keeping us cool.
Wednesday 27th Rose at 7.00 with a nice cool breeze. We decided to go into Ainsa after breakfast to get info from the Tourist Office. This was a surprise, a lovely medieval town with a completely different character. It has a large fortified castle with the outer walls left around a very big square. This lead into another large square surrounded by shops and restaurants with arched covered walkways on both sides and the town hall at one end.
We got the info we wanted and a couple of walking maps and went to Escalona to find the start of a walk up the Canyon de Anilsco. This was a long drive (about 100km all round) but well worth it. One of the most picturesque days we have had. Temperature at the top of the walk (1360m) was about 28C and when we returned to the caravan at 6.30pm it was 36C – straight to the showers.
One of the best days we’ve had. Found shells of big bug on awning
Dr. Christopher Chaffee, Assistant Professor of Music at Wright State University, made a visit to Chadron State to perform in a guest recital. He was accompanied by Dr. James Margetts of Chadron State College.
To experience Biscayne National Park requires getting in the water or at least out on the water, but there was no time for either this day as we had reservations for an early-afternoon tram tour in Shark Valley. Had to be content with a quick tour of the visitor center and walk along the shoreline which, quite frankly, resembled countless other water views. There's quite a list of interesting opportunities there so hopefully there might be a future visit that will allow some exploration.
The park does have a cool entrance sign!
