Turbo Express set 166218, working the late-running 14.21 from London Paddington to Great Malvern, pauses briefly at Moreton-in-Marsh station on Saturday, January 28, 2012. It had been delayed by disruption at Reading reportedly caused by a freight train derailment earlier in the day.
Went for a quick dig at a little local sit dating 1900-1930. Nothing any good today... a wine, daddies sauce, 2 HP Sauces, hair restorer, jam jar, few medicines, couple of stoppers, and a floor tile!
For this set of cards I inked the 'Birthday Cake' stamp with Distress Stains.

Quick day trip to the DuPont State Forest, Transylvania County, near Cedar Mountain, North Carolina. We went with the expectation of seeing Cypripedium parviflorum var. pubescens or Large Yellow Lady's-slipper orchid, but we saw much more...
For additional images and the trip report, please go to Jim's Blog...
I cooked them using the second method described (browning and then steaming) and I used a water and vegetable broth mix to steam them.

My first attempt at candid street photography. Took a few quick shots of this couple eating lunch one afternoon at the South Street Seaport.
Just touched up the levels a bit, the contrast a bit and added a vignette - all done in Aperture. No PS... Total time in post-processing... 5 minutes...
Not very inspired that day... only shot 17 frames :(
One light... (like I like it) lighting setup shown here: www.flickr.com/photos/ramsesm/4485066297/

Jesse demonstrating how to use Quick Strip 2000 at the Powder Coating Training Class held by Powder Buy The Pound.
Did the stamping with Distress Stains.
I just added some cord and a metal heart, 'less is more' in this case :)

They were quick to make. I want to say only like 15 minutes, but it was probably closer to 45 if I'm honest! Still, way faster than most everything else I make...
Quick & Plenty Cafe, Tollcross/Bruntsfield, Edinburgh, Scotland - another of my guilty pleasures and only £2.60 a pop... two rashers of crispy bacon and a fried egg in a roll, with a mug of tea and plenty characters wandering in and out. Love it! ;-)
