I actually finished sewing an article of clothing!! And it was EASY!! And it fits!! And the thread ends are even properly tied off!! I loved the pattern, I love the fabric, and we're all very excited around here.

For once, I stamped the flowers on this card in black ink for some quick and easy watercolouring - having the lines so defined means you only need a quick splash of colour! The Florals are from Altenew and then there's some Simon Says Stamp and CZ Design thrown in for good measure :D

This assignment was very challenging for me. I actually had to layer this with a quick watercolor rendition of the painting. I could think of no other way to get the same colors into my photo. Anyway, it was a fun shoot.

Also found this gem. "Quick Change" - 1990, co-directed by Bill Murray. I bought this at a yard sale, I believe. It's a "rare" video store screener copy. I was pleased to be able to finally own this, and no longer had to rent it bi-yearly. It's always been one of my favorites, but was very hard to find in stores, and I don't think ever received a U.S. DVD or Blu-ray release. Was very overlooked for many years, but now has a cult status.
