These pale pink tiles are placed in such a way that they are directly under the cow's udder. Before she is hooked up to the apparatus, the milker will squirt a small amount of milk onto it to check for color--to make sure it is white. If it is off color, or chunky (yum!), he knows that it could mean she has mastitis or an infection of some sort. Her milk will not be used, and she will be checked for infection.
very quick applying the Yellow and Green paint onto the white wood, this expresses different brush strokes.
This is before it comes to a simmer - the simmering thickens it a bit. yum. Spices can help clear your sinuses, too! Recipe in My recipe box
Open face sandwich with leftover roast chicken. Tossed some baby arugula and cherry tomatoes with red wine vinegar, EVOO, salt and pepper to taste. Spread some pesto on a piece of sourdough, and lightly toast it. Then topped the toasted sourdough with baby arugula, cherry tomatoes, shaved parmesan and cranberries....and of course the roasted chicken breast. Simple, quick and good.

Finding that I had a hole in my thongs while on a rocky beach, I popped into a local discount shop... and found the exact same design for sale... $4.97 later... here I am, making a snappy change.
Interesting that I now wear a size-10 thong rather than the 11 previously...

Quick stress test I did to see which light modifier is more efficient with the speedlights. Nothing has changed between the photos except for the umbrella and softbox, used a yongnuo YN-560 at full power using the D3000 at ISO100 1/200s at F/16 inside a dimly lit room.
Just testing things out to see which would be best for me to use in different circumstances. Last time I tried shooting outside I found that the efficiency or lack there of with the umbrella was a pretty big problem on a hazy day, there just wasn't enough light to overpower the ambient light.
