I actually finished sewing an article of clothing!! And it was EASY!! And it fits!! And the thread ends are even properly tied off!! I loved the pattern, I love the fabric, and we're all very excited around here.
Quick et Flupke est une série d'albums de bande dessinée créée par Hergé. Les séries sont publiées dans les pages du journal Le Petit Vingtième à partir du 23 janvier 1930.
Les deux héros sont des enfants des rues de Bruxelles, et sont nommés Quick et Flupke ("Petit Philippe" en brabançon). Les deux garçons causent de sérieux problèmes par accident, ce qui leur amène des ennuis avec leurs parents et la police, en particulier l'Agent 15. Ils aiment fabriquer toutes sortes d'engins aussi inutiles que dangereux comme des avions à roulettes ou des planeurs.
Après la Seconde Guerre mondiale, les planches sont regroupées par séries. Les deux premières sont éditées en janvier 1949, la onzième (11e) et dernière série en janvier 1969. Six recueils des mêmes histoires sont ensuite tirés sous le nom Les exploits de Quick et Flupke de 1975 à 1982.

As I've mentioned before, this is our favorite weekend of the year, and the show I look forward to all year. As you look at these photos you'll see why. Year after year NAS Oceana puts on a world class air show, and this year was no exception.
This year's show featured the Blue Angels, F-22 Raptor, US Air Force Heritage Flight, Warrior Flight Team, Jim Beasley and his P-51 Mustang "Bald Eagle", the GEICO Skytypers, Bob Carlton & his jet powered sailplane, Scott Yoak & his P-51 Quick Silver, Shockwave, World Aerobatic Champion Rob Holland, the Black Dagger paracute team, and of course plenty of jet noise from the East Coast Legacy Hornet Demo Team, Super Hornet Demo Team, and the famous "Airpower Demo" which shows how Naval Aviation takes care of business.

when i take photos, i shoot with my left eye, which i think is unusual since i write right-handed. however this could be completely normal, i'd be interested to know if i'm the odd one out here?
note: this photo is from ireland. i set my camera down on a ledge near the sea and made evin pose with me. while i'm trying my best to ward off the cold weather, and i really would have rather not posted a winter shot, i'm lazy and i still think it's cute :)
