I think my hallmark/trademark might be that I see more beauty in things than others, and I can never pick my favorite shot! For instance, as the sun set over the San Clemente Pier, I loved all the light!

Will be busy printing and framing in nice large, matted formats and frames and museum glass! Five of these photos will be printed on 40" x 60" floating wall mounted metal sheets! I think I know which--will share photos of the photos hanging on the walls!
And I am mounting some on plexiglass/acryllic--front mounting them! Some I am printing on lossy fuji-crystal archival paper too, and then front mounting 40"x60" versions to plexiglass--will send photos!
The secret to HDR photography is that you want people to say, "Woe dude--that's unreal!" And not, "Dude--that's not real!" "Unreal" is the word they use when they're trying to figure out the photo--what makes it cool--is it a photo? Is it painted? How'd it come to be--how'd you bend the light that way? "That's not real," is what they say if you have the saturation/HDR/ etc. turned up too high. :)
Some (almost) final edits for my Los Angeles Gallery Show! Printing them on metallic paper at 13" x 19" and mounting and framing them on a 4mm 18x24 white mat and 2" dark wood frame. Also printing some 40" x 70" whihc is over three feet by five feet! Wish you all could come (and hang out with the goddesses)!

ODC2 - Our Daily Challenge - The big question.
Today's big question was at the dentist - was I to keep my teeth or lose the rest. At the moment I can keep what's left. Whoopee!

Project 100, unfamiliar people in Leiden in the street and photographed asked the question, what are you going to do?
This screen capture was taken less 5 minutes after the candidates had stopped answering the "abortion" question.
For those who didn't see the debate, an audience member asked a question of the candidates amounting to "What will you look for in a Supreme Court appointee?" Before the first candidate was able to answer, a CNN moderator interrupted to ask the candidate to include his stance on abortion in his answer.
Video of the question is here on CNN's site for now. (You can hear Biden laughing in background at the absurdity of asking for an audience question and then changing it when it wasn't what CNN wanted)
This obvious manipulation of the audience member's question was made more understandable when I looked at the CNN front page and saw their lead story, updated before the question had been asked.
This could, of course, be the result of CNN having agreed with the audience member beforehand on what her question would be, and the questioner accidentally or purposefully modifying her question into what turned out to be a more interesting query. As all of the candidates' stances on Roe v. Wade are well known, CNN might not be going out on a limb by stating they all agreed ahead of time, but if that's the case, it still doesn't seem to meet journalistic standards. Regardless, it's a very revealing peek into the workings behind CNN's debates and reporting, and puts into doubt the value of audience-sourced questions.

Photographers, I've seen these simple flash cap diffusers used for years. I never wanted one. Not until I saw this "green" one that I figured I could use to match my daylight flash to the ambient fluorescent in an office.
However, this particular one is way too green and blue, and that yellow one doesn't match the flash to ambient tungsten light very well, either.
I may be better off just taping Rosco gel scraps onto my flash and bouncing off the ceiling.
