Immer Di. & Fr. auf 3min!
A shot of the Seth puppet in mid animated action; stomach pain, from my animated music video for Dufus:

Up to my eyeballs in this puppet right now. He has reverse canted legs which I'm pretty excited about. When I was at the Nat'l Puppetry Festival this last summer, I met the puppet builder for the movie "Strings". He showed us all the puppets from the movie--and the cool thing was the three point stringing of the legs: Toe, Heel, and Knee. I'm gonna try it!
Why am I making a puppet for an anime con? Mostly for the novelty, but also cause I'm hoping to find others interested in this type of animation. Maybe make our own movie...you never know.
Who is it? Well it's a cute little character from one of my favorite animes. He's half animal, thus the reverse canted legs. This marionette's size reflects the character's actual size if it was a live action show. I figure a lot of con-goers wearing mass quantities of white hair might want their picture with this little guy. Enough hints? Can you guess yet?
