Inspiration
The artistic inspiration of this photograph is about myself. The big box is like a house, or room. When the puppet walk outside(out of the box), it looks like very confident, and positive. When the puppet walk into the room, the puppet looks like so sad, lonely and desperate. Why I say this is me, because when the first time I came to the United States as an exchange student, I always miss my family, friends, and everything in my country. Every time when I back to my room, I always felt lonely. But I will be very positive in front of others, and then I had the idea of this photo.

the puppets are made of wood and cork, are between 20 and 40 cm in height, and are dressed in costumes which, as in the regular theater, enable the characters in the story to be identified. The music (portuguese guitar) and the songs are performed live. The texts, based on oral tradition, present a fusion of erudite theme and popular culture.
My needle felted dog puppet is made from wool, he has a waxed nose and a little tail. Use your happy dog puppet to help tell a story or act out a daily event. Adults and educators like to give puppets to children because they stimulate the imagination; children love puppets because they're fun!
