Neither this photo nor the one that follows really captures the scale of this punch bowl. A reasonably large human could bathe in this. And the punch bowl in the Crown Jewels at the Tower puts this to shame. Talk about opulence...
Not at all what it looks like, just more advertising for another Edinburgh Fringe show. Completely staged, they never laid a finger on each other.

Re-enactment of Bradford's punch to Evan's face. I wasn't there to see the first one. I hear that it really wasn't as epic as depicted here.
Taken during the Big Grin - a celebration marking the 'birthday' of Mr Punch. The date has been chosen because Samuel Pepys made an entry in his diary for 9 May 1662, noting the marionette performance of "Signor Bologna" in Covent Garden.
The Big Grin featured a parade of Professors around the piazza, a mass photocall, and then individual performances.

Another Bell Punch resurrection! This machine had been discarded as unrepairable, but an hour or so let me discover that it had been wrongly assembled. The next puzzle was to work out how it should be - and now it works. Just need to find a couple of missing tiny screws to complete the job.
