Another attempt of a reflection photograph taken whilst waiting for my train. I liked the reflection of the lady in the puddle and the legs of another passenger walking by.
Puddle jumping is more fun with friends!
This Blythe doll is Simply Guava, wearing Playful Raindrops’ stock raincoat, and joined by a Wonder Frog and a Sonny Angel for “Step In a Puddle” in Blythe a Day on Flickr. The background is a jigsaw puzzle. I tried to make a big splash out of foil, but it doesn’t look as great as I imagined it would!
I placed my daughter in the same spot as I took similar photo of my son in years ago. Hope to make it a yearly theme.
Please consider joining my weekly photo sharing community that "gets together" on Thursdays. The theme will be "BLUE". You can post the theme or anything that speaks to your artistic self. Please go here: www.flickr.com/groups/re-inspiredthursdays/

Ever since I first photographed Horsetail Falls appearing as if it was on fire back in 2011, Iâve been wanting to photograph it over and over again. Itâs such an awesome scene and thereâs a reason why thousands and thousands of visitors flock to Yosemite National Park every year to see it.
The last few years have had a dry winter and that meant the snowmelt that fed the falls was non-existent: no waterfall! This last year, though, we saw a nice snowpack and Horsetail Falls was gushing. I had visited the previous evening but clouds had blocked the show just as it was about to start, so I came back with a bunch of my coworkers on Monday, February 22nd. I played a little bit of workshop leader and made sure all my coworkers were getting great photos when I looked down and saw the reflection of Horsetail in this small puddle of water. I knew I had to bend down and snap it!
It was also really neat seeing how many people had found my blog, announcing the dates and times for Fire Falls. Iâd randomly walk by someone and Iâd see the print out of my table with the dates! Iâll be doing this again for 2017 and have plans to build an iPhone app as well! Stay tuned!

Entire week marathon finished, whew! I almost didn't get to finish these! Skirts for Puddle! They should fit most 1:6 dolls since they are elastic. Now I need to get everything packed and ready for tomorrow!

Hopefully some of those puddles will return to ponds. I'll have a look later. Missing those ponds...
Puddling is when a butterfly is drinking from a muddy area. They are taking in both water and minerals. Males do it more than females because the intake of salts and other minerals helps with production of pheromones & sperm. The males pass along the sodium & nutrients to the females as a nuptial gift when mating. And it increases the survival rate of the eggs.

My world is upside-down for too long.
You are looking at the "dôme de chapelle des Invalides" in a puddle after a short rain.
PHTSHP Tip: If you try to duplicate your layer and set it to "Soft Light" you will get the same effect.
I call it rich coloring.
