Pulling the stretched spring out.
Peter helped me tie a string onto Pudding's stretched spring today. Her eyes still won't change though and I have to hand roll them. I think I'm going to have to open her head up to really fix her mech. But now she can sleep and her lids are already less droopy.

After all the rest of the stuff there was an apple cake with squirty ice cream and marsh mallows. It was really yummy!

When we were children my Dad made syrup sponge pudding in the pressure cooker. We used to watch the whistle turning round and round with anticipation. The other day I was cycling home from work and I got a craving for that taste - the grainy sticky sweetness and the solid sponge. So I dug out an old cookbook and had a go. It was so good....
its made from bananas, squash puree, and cantaloupe puree--from Jessica Seinfeld's book Deceptively Delicious. Its actually pretty good
Nothing fights the packaging of sweets. there's godiva chocolates (whte box- white chocolates, dark chocolate bars, green box-truffes) and taiwanese fruit pudding in colourful little wrappings. muahahahaha! xD

A bit blurry (slow shutter speed, wind), but I loved how Pudding's hair was fluffing out in the wind so I played around in a new program I have called OnOne PhotoSuite and took advantage of the blur. I like how it turned out - hope you do too!
Brownie Pudding Cake. When it's put into the oven, there's a batter the consistency of brownie batter on the bottom, and on top is basically brown water composed of brown sugar and cocoa powder dissolved in boiling water. As it bakes, the cake rises through the water mixture and a pudding forms underneath. It's really neat! Best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
