Before assembling our scruptious dessert of parfaits, we had to test the differences between chocolate pudding and devil's food pudding. The difference is, as it turns out, that devil's food tastes better.
Pudding complained that she's been here for a while (longer than some other girls) and hasn't had her sunset/dusk portrait taken on our deck yet. She picked one of our new mod Morganannie dresses for today's photo.

Lale Restaurant in the Sultanahmet district of Istanbul, Turkey. The restaurant became popular in the 1960s as a meeting place for hippies and other travellers on overland route between Europe and India, Nepal, and elsewhere in Asia - the 'hippie trail'.
Vegan banana cupcakes with banana pudding filling and vanilla bean frosting and caramel drizzle. The vanilla wafer is the only non-vegan thing on them, and they were tasty!

Delicious mango pudding at Hong Hua. A favorite of mine. It is simply prepared; nothing fancy. I make sure I get it when I come here. Does anyone have a good favorite Mango pudding recipe?

Schulzies Bread Pudding in Hayes Valley. Order one of nine base flavors, add a sauce and toppings. Made from fresh bread. Served cold.
This bread pudding was simply crusted on top with brown sugar. Apparently that was an error because it was supposed to be a "light sprinkling". But its these "mistakes" which end up making recipes that are unique, different and improve the recipe!
The amusing thing about this dinner was that we had a great dessert spread. That's what happens with pot lucks!
