this was the BEST malva pudding ... a piping hot moist apricot cake with a warm caramel brandy sauce poured over it and accompanied by a scoop of cold, velvety smooth vanilla ice cream ....

how wonderful? ... I would actually pass on dark chocolate for more of this! ..... it is truly THAT good!

Not sure why this gun was in the pudding. I walked into a room that the night before had hosted a white elephant party and this is what I found. Weird, but to me interesting enough to take a picture.

Hebden Bridge delicacy: dock pudding (which is made from common bistort, not dock leaves). It tastes fantastic.

A pudding i made inspired from Black Forest Cake thus named Schwarzwald (Black Forest in German). Made from chocolate pudding and topped with white chocolate, scraped dark chocolate, whipped cream, and cherry.
