Pudding just went to the vet for his repeat consultation today. He has a mysterious fur loss on his back! :'( He wasn't responsive to his previous medication (keto susp), and there aren't mites in his skin scrape. Poor boy. He already lost 6g! He got an anti-itch jab, and we'll have to see how it goes. :(

Brown Rice Pudding - Mom and I weren't entirely fond of the texture but it had a good sweetness to it. Mine definitely didn't turn out like the picture but it could be because I used brown rice instead of Arborio and/or because I used skim milk.

**I had to remove her feet to put them in the boots. At first i put them in the boots and when i took them off her foot came off and I spent forever with tweezers trying to pull it out! I did't want them getting lost in there forever. lol

OK. I'm sorry. I completely neglected to photograph either the entree (crab and sole soup) or main course (slow-cooked shoulder of lamb, roast lamb, roasted new potatoes with fennel tops, beet leaves & stems steamed with chipotle chilli [very mild - gave a smoky sort of flavour], roasted tomatoes and samphire) because I was too busy eating. OMG SO GOOD. ALL OF IT. Anyway, this was the pudding. Homemade dark chocolate rocky road, using homemade marshmallows. Cherries, strawberries macerated in a syrup made with the strawberry tops and vanilla. Blackcurrants. Almond flakes, crumbled shortbread. Custard. Oh. Yes.

Lemon and cinnamon rice pudding (in Australia we would call it "creamed rice"). Thank you Mad About Cookies for the recipe, you'll note mine isn't as pretty as yours. Hungry men were waiting and were grabbing bowls, this was my husbands bowl that he kept topping up with more. Everyone adored it, you're right it is the "best" rice pudding!!!
