Surprisingly, this turned out tasting like pumpkin pie! I was expecting it to be more fruity, but it was a nice surprise! It must be the energy of the Fall Equinox!
I blended about 2 cups water, 4 dried figs, 1 handful of dried gogi berries, 1 tbsp shredded coconut, 4 or 5 walnuts, a small piece of fresh ginger, about 1/2 tsp cinnamon, a dash of vanilla and a pinch of sea salt. After that was all blended up, I stirred in about 1/2 cup chia seeds and a few whole goji berries, until it thickened up to pudding consistency. I chilled it for about four hours... This was a serving for two... or so.

Baroness Sayeeda Warsi joined David Burrowes MP, Cllr Victoria Borwick AM and our local councillors as special guest at our 2009 Pudding and Politics Event on 23rd May. This year the event marked 100 years since the first recorded meeting of the Women's Suffrage movement in Southgate.
The event was open to members and supporters who aren't members (yet!) and the question and answer session was particularly enjoyable !

This bridge is a timber stringer bridge over Pudding Creek on California State Park Trail in Fort Bragg, Mendocino County, California. It is open to pedestrians.
History:
Built 1915 as logging railroad trestle, converted to one lane logging truck bridge in 1950's, ended service to vehicles in late 1970's, converted to pedestrian walkway 2007.
This is another spot I'd like to go back. Next time at sunset with the sun peeking through the trestles.
Just got my first AB800! Ive never used these types of lights before. (So go easy on me) Took the lights to work and took a bunch of portraits of people I work with at the news paper.
Can't wait to really learn how to use the light so I can finally take these ideas that are in my head and turn them into a reality.
I would love some feedback from anyone who works with lights. Can't wait to start pumping some new photos out!

One of our favorite treats camping is to make up powdered milk with ice cold water from a near by stream and then mix with instant pudding in a ziploc bag. Then squeeze into your mouth and enjoy. I squoze a bit too much in Sofi's mouth and she exploded pudding.

Rice pudding is my ultimate comfort food. Simple, unfussy, and satisfying to the soul. The first time I made this I also served up the caramelized apples that Dorie specifies in her recipe book; while they were nice, I think I'm a rice pudding purist. It needs no enhancement.

Pudding just went to the vet for his repeat consultation today. He has a mysterious fur loss on his back! :'( He wasn't responsive to his previous medication (keto susp), and there aren't mites in his skin scrape. Poor boy. He already lost 6g! He got an anti-itch jab, and we'll have to see how it goes. :(
