Excellent pub close to Thorpe station, weith the added bonus of its own brewery. It serves good grub too.
This was odd - all these people were standing outside, watching a football match on the big screen inside.
On Wigan Lane. It's a long house from the inside. Turned over mainly to diners with every table bar one laid out for meals. I did feel a little uncomfortable with my pint and got a funny look from the staff when I refused to accept a menu. Still, the beer was OK. I had a pint of Roosters - Celtic Corker (3 April 2010) and they were serving 2 more from Phoenix and Everards. Pub sign www.flickr.com/photos/garstonian/4488525899

A handsome building dating back to at least 1847. Today it is a Tapas Bar sandwiched between more modern buildings.
The Arden Oak is a Sheldon landmark located on the junction of Arden Oak Road and the busy A45 Coventry Road. The pub is part of the Harvester chain and has a plain corporate sign to try and entice customers.
Yesterday we had another PuB NiGHT it was AMAZING. We had so much fun and got to meet so many people. Smilies is a great pub to just talk and have a great time.

On the corner of York Road and King Street in Great Yarmouth. I think this has been known as The York Tavern and The York Hotel. There is more information about this address here and other names for the pub including the Kings Head www.norfolkpubs.co.uk/gtyarmouth/gyk/gykhe3.htm

Sankey Street. Recently reopened. It is now Noy's Thai Kitchen. Called in today (16 September 2009) there is still a bar but alas, no cask ale. It smelt like a Thai kitchen too so enjoy your lager. Pub sign www.flickr.com/photos/garstonian/3927764239/
