On Wigan Lane. It's a long house from the inside. Turned over mainly to diners with every table bar one laid out for meals. I did feel a little uncomfortable with my pint and got a funny look from the staff when I refused to accept a menu. Still, the beer was OK. The Arden Oak is a Sheldon landmark located on the junction of Arden Oak Road and the busy A45 Coventry Road. The pub is part of the Harvester chain and has a plain corporate sign to try and entice customers.

Another old Pub fades into history, this time 'The Ship' at Old Colwyn. It closed recently and has now been sold, with the new owners wanting to convert it into flats.
