I am happy to share a news with you all, that my first photography assignment work is published in a magazine. Soon the magazine is going to be full time live on the internet. I will be providing photo essays every month for the e-magazine.
Please download the magazine from Sattva and go through it whenever you get time. It has some interesting articles for i-Day Special. Refer to page 11 and 12 where my work is published.
Thank you all for your comments, suggestions, appreciations..
Flickr, for sure, has given a new dimension to my work and life..
@Joel, thanks for your photograph and sharing the views on your freedom.
PUBLISHED!! I made it to the front cover in "Mi Bebe" magazine. In a local magazine. My first front cover and hopefully many to come! Baby Valentina is the one on the cover three months old at the time. I'm Excited!
Local paper published a few shots. No biggie but still something, didn't even know about it until now.
Who would have thought that an amazing mountain bike ride above Naramata in the Okanagan would have led to this? The largest photo on page 39 (right page, square photo) of the newly published Penticton & Wine Country 2009 Visitor's Guide is of a friend enjoying the last of a delicious gewerztraminer from Hillside winery. Happy to get a semi-clear shot on my pocket-cam after having had some of that wine myself!
My thanks and appreciation to Kerry Stansfield, executive assistant for Penticton & Wine Country Tourism.

A postally unused postcard published prior to 1918 by Sargeant Bros. of West Drayton.
The bandstand in the photograph was built in 1895. It comprises 8 slender cast-iron columns supporting a tent-shaped canopy surmounted by a weathervane.
It embodies anthemion (radiating petals) motif decorations.
The bandstand was Grade II listed in 1975 for its special architectural and historic interest.
During the Great War, Folkestone was known as the Gateway to the Trenches because of the vast number of troops who set sail for the Western Front from the harbour.
Between 1914 and 1918, an estimated 8 million troops passed through Folkestone on their way to war.
A memorial arch now stands at the top of the hill above the harbour where boats awaited the troops.
So many men failed to return that the steep downhill street leading down to the harbour (formerly known as Slope Road), is now named Road of Remembrance.
Commemorations in Folkestone marking 100 years since Great Britain entered the Great War were organised by Shepway District Council and the charity Step Short, which is named after the order given to the marching men to shorten their stride as they progressed downhill to their destiny.
