As you move southward/away from the bridge the street lights on the north side of the bridge become visible doubling the number of lights visible across the top of the bridge - compare with first photo below. The old bridge see second photo in first comment below only had one row of taller street lights on the northside of the bridge. The streetlights on the new bridge are LEDs with a much more daylight like white balance in comparison to the green cast of the lights on the old bridge; note also how much warmer/oranger the lights from Riverfront Park (visible thru the center arch) are. on a pleasant late Spring evening, Portland, OR The light and color kept changing and improving as the evening progressed resulting in the June 2nd SE PDX PhotoWalk P3 never leaving leaving the rivers edge. The hour plus wait for this magic moment when the all the lights of the bridge and city balanced and contrasted against the blue hour sky was more than worth the wait, the squiggle reflections of bridge lights on the river were icing on the cake.
