Photo from my trip to Sweden in septmeber 2012. I went sailing on this fantastic SAR-Ship.

Offshore sea rescue boat. Rescue boats in Rausing class is Marine Rescue Society's largest units. These units are stationed in traffic-intensive areas with large passenger flows along the coasts of Sweden and is also able to operate in extreme weather conditions. They are fitted with waterjets and equipped to handle emergencies with many distressed. For beachside relief efforts and in extremely shallow areas are a Rescue Runner on board.

A model of the paddle steamer PS Connaught at the Science Museum, South Kensington, 14 April 2007. It was built by Laird, Birkenhead in 1860 for the City of Dublin Steam Packet Co. for its Holyhead – Dublin service. It weighed 2,040 tons gross.
