The prototype Bionic Woman doll by Kenner does not have the copyright information that the finale release has. This early design is fascinating and I keep discovering things about it.
The final prototype in steel, 57.6mm (the only size available). Waiting now on Reg Barber to cut the final handle design. I have one handle in aluminum, very happy with it - it is a hybrid of Reg's original handle and his tall ball handle - best of both shapes. Feels incredibly natural in almost all sizes of hands. Psyched!
An anonymous paper prototype/idea. Each workshopper responded to one of the best ideas from their team brainstorm, using any of the various materials I provided.
many of the ideas considered geolocation, personalising the Gormley figures, engaging young children, various "Where's Wally" ideas and many more brilliant ideas.

Factory prototype EJ Holden for a never released dual carb version at 2019 East Kurrajong Hobby and Car Show. Understood the only survivor of 4 built. The project development continued and resulted in the EH S4 model.
Functional prototype of a concept from a previous IBDC winner. The trike is fully electric with no pedals, and the whole frame raises, lowers, lengthens and shortens for various urban conditions.

Documentation of the Fall 2009 Hand-painted/Hand-styled Avery prototype doll.
Her hair has a lot of damage, from both the knotted hairstyle (which is causing breakage) as well as presumably being heavily handled over the years for photoshoots, commercials and retailer showings, as well as being stored in a box for several years by the last owner.
For that reason I've decided to completely undo her style and straighten it out to prevent further damage and keep the hair organized for longevity, but not before I document every detail of the style, as both a show of respect to MGA's Hair Designer and to let fans see how much work went into her intricately hand-woven hair style before I restyle it.
While undoing her hair, I also took photos of each individual section so that I have documentation of the exact placement of the knots in her hair, as well as where each strand came from on her head.
This new vortex chamber prototype for use in a chemical looping combustion reactor was fabricated with a 3D printer and will be used to separate coal ash from the oxygen carrier.

A final design render of a concept adjustable ball joint bar clamp for a GoPro Camera, this will then go on to physical prototyping via 3D Printing - This design was completed using AutoDesk Fusion 360 for Mac
I've probably spent way too much time over the past week finessing the code for this, but I think I've finally got it where I want it.

Fully functional prototype built while at the Canadian Film Centre's Interactive Arts and Entertainment program in 2008. Co-created with Angella Mackey, Deiren Masterson and Jeff Wright. And with special thanks to Suissa Computers for their manufacture and design expertise which helped us realise the prototypes.
Just got the FINAL prototype of the CoffeeGeek Kurv tamper literally minutes ago, and it is nearly PERFECT. I'm so thrilled with it; we're sending off the bases to Reg to get 4 handles done, then they go to three testers around the world for final feedback. I've put almost 4 years into this design, and I'm quite excited by it all.
I'm almost dying to show off the full unabashed design of this tamper, but I'll have to wait until we do the initial production run - the design is completely original, but I wouldn't put it past unscrupulous types to copy; if they do so after I launch that's one thing (people will know its a knockoff); if they do so before I launch, that's another thing.
