The Eden Project is a visitor attraction in Cornwall, England. Inside the two biomes are plants that are collected from many diverse climates and environments. The project is located in a reclaimed Kaolinite pit, located 2 km (1.2 mi) from the town of St Blazey and 5 km (3 mi) from the larger town of St Austell, Cornwall.
The complex is dominated by two huge enclosures consisting of adjoining omes that house thousands of plant species, and each enclosure emulates a natural biome. The biomes consist of hundreds of hexagonal and pentagonal, inflated, plastic cells supported by steel frames. The largest of the two biomes simulates a Rainforest environment and the second, a Mediterranean environment. The attraction also has an outside botanical garden which is home to many plants and wildlife native to Cornwall and the UK in general; it also has many plants that provide an important and interesting backstory, for example, those with a prehistoric heritage.
So I know this seems like a dark start to a project and also a dark way to start the new year but the subject isn't an easy one and so I thought might as well jump in with both feet!!!
The new project is on Forgiveness - After doing my Grateful project in 2017 which was the worst year of my life, it really did help me get through all the deaths and grieving but there is a lot of aftermath that I had know idea would have even been possible with the shear unkindess from important people in my life. I have tolerated intolerable things from these people, so in order to release myself from all the poison related to harboring so much unforgiveness I feel I need to walk this journey and hope it helps some of you too who have those people or circumstances that just seem like we can never forgive. So with lots of vulnerability I welcome you to share my journey.
Now in saying this I do know how important forgiveness is after all I've been forgiven from my Lord and Savior and that's so Huge and I have no words to even comprehend that! But the other part is to forgive as I've been forgiven - That's the biggie and is so easy to say - but walking the walk and talking the talk well there's the struggle.
This is not a 365 day project, it's more of a Year long project with posts monthly as I'm trying to work this all out. I feel in trying to do a daily post I wouldn't have the time to really reflect on the importance of this journey. So hold on tight it's going to be a bumpy ride but I hope by the end of this there will be so much Freedom!!!
By the end of the century, sub-alpine meadows could shrink up to 27 percent at Mount Rainier National Park and disappear entirely at North Cascades National Park. To understand the effects of climate change on pollinators and protect our sub-alpine meadows, the Cascades Butterfly Project will be monitoring three sites in North Cascades National Park, two in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, and four in Mount Rainier National Park.

Today is a cold blustery day, gusty winds and snow flurries. Found this fence up the road by the creek, I loved the reflections of the trees in the water.
(still trying to figure out this new camera, I see it has the date/time wrong so I'll have to check into that)
Have a great weekend everyone!

To all of you amazing readers a simple hello!
I was born in Haiti and although I love living in Canada, I have been here for too long now. All of my friends have returned to what they call “home”. I am still confused about where my home is. As a reader you must be asking yourselves the question; why have my friends gone back to Haiti? I know it’s hard for you to understand since the Haiti you know is that of the media, the one that portrays a world of poverty and despair to say the least! Even in 2009, Haitians are still risking their lives and trying to escape from this Island. In Haiti, unfortunately there are those who need to escape, we refer to them as “The Others” like in the series LOST and then, there are those who have no need to escape because the quality of their lives is better then you could ever imagine! This is the reality; I did not create the Social Hierarchy, I was simply raised in it.
“Retournons a nos moutons”. Two years ago I had an epiphany and felt that the Mother Land was calling out to me. I decided to put on my big boy pants and return to my roots as a Vacationer or Tourist, not as a Native who had missed his home! Things had drastically changed since I left, the shock of it played on my mind and I will admit on my heart, the one I had kept buried for so long. However, being in the presence of one’s Maman, friends and family was simply PRICELESS! For the first time, I was paying attention to the fact that I was born under some very good stars for so many are in need in this place we call “Haiti”.
In the year 2007, I became interested in Photography through a friend with an amazing talent for it. I was impressed with what he did and I couldn’t help but to notice the Art in the creations! He truly had an eye for this and it peeked my interest. People are different when you look at them through their talent. I wanted to learn more and he was willing to share that passion with me. In small steps, I progressed rapidly and was so excited to see what I myself could create. Other’s quickly recognized in me the hidden talent that I had a natural instinct for. I have to take a time out to thank those good friends around me who encouraged this talent and believed in me. I kept them on the edge wanting more. I am now on a mission to take Art and its Technology to a new level by way of multiple tries and various approaches. According to my mood and the photograph, the creation for me personally is to capture life by working certain pictures in post treatment; there imagination becomes the only border.
I had a feeling deep inside that I needed to challenge myself to capture something amazing. This would be a project that required some deep soul searching in order to find the right subject to share, like sharing a piece of me. See when I came to Canada I found my way via the Tuning and Racing Industry, I was young and alive and needed to keep my very big balls in shape to keep up with the whole shenanigans of “my car is faster than your car”. It was a way of life but today I have come a long way from burning rubber on pavement to falling in love with my new found Art Form. It wasn’t easy, I won’t lie, and I still struggle with the pressure of perfection to produce something great each time. Understand, I feel that it’s a part of my soul that I am sharing with the world and therefore want it to be seen through my eyes. I have been truly blessed to have found this form of expression and creative outlet to show the world a piece of Jun.
Project 566 is basically five hundred and sixty six pictures taken in Haiti within six hours over a two day period, not counting the post treatment and web design. I will present my project in the form of a book which I will name “ D’ou je viens, la misere n’existe pas!” This will not be about showing you the ugliness of my Country but rather the beauty in the misery and the hope in the eyes of those who live it. It’s about reality, the same reality that moved me, I want to cry but will not allow myself that pain for I found smiles and hope in those faces and on this incredible journey have counted my blessings. Who are we to judge what is in the heart of an individual in any condition on this Earth. Allow me to share the experience of my Country through the smiles of those who cherish it, not through eyes of a foreigner watching the six o’clock news. Look deeper than the image and see the beauty of the moment; this is my gift to you.
To Evens Hill and Eric Constantineau who opened the skylines of photography and to those who let me grow through their knowledge and passion, I say thank you!

"Project 7 is a single-seater sports car based on the F-TYPE, with the kind of racing-inspired form that designers dream about. It has one purpose: to be driven fast and enjoyed.Jaguar sports cars are known for exceptional performance and clean design. Project 7 captures that spirit in its purest form."
I enjoyed watching the short lived "Starcom in the late 80's early 90's. I've wanted to build something along the lines of the Starmax Bomber for a while, and here are the results.
The front cockpit and pilot seating position isn't too good, due to the landing strut being right below.Overall this has a sleeker look than the cartoon and is missing a few of the features of the real one, but it was a fun build.
He's trying to cut a deal.
I can't believe he let me get this pic. Usually when he stands up like this he tries to eat the lens.
