It's the year 1944 and the war in France is closely coming to an end. Normandy has been liberated and american, canadian and british troops are on there way to free the rest of the country! Sending bombers and fighters first, the american's are fierce and strong in the attack. Germany obviously want's to keep ground and fight back hard.
This is my section of the colab.
Well here are some photo's of Project Aviation, where Stijn, Mats, Jurian and I have been working on.
Also don't forget the photo's on Stijn and Mats photostream.
I don't wanna know how many noses have been wiped on this skirt ;0). It was created from my collections of thrifted and gifted vintage hankies.

Another shot from my projected portrait from today. I actually like this shot better but it doesn't have my user name on it like the other.
I bought this small glass at furniture store this morning. I added pepsi in it and placed it on the table in my backyard. I took these photos around 7pm to get the golden lights from sunset. Sunlight did enhance the color of the liquid as I wanted. I edited in Photoshop with levels, curves and brightness to make the final look.

11 / 50 : Sparkle it up!
This is Maria Teresa.
She contacted me a while ago to book a little photoshoot for her model portfolio and who the hell am I to not include her in this project?! :)
It has been a great day, we had tons of fun and we wrapped up quite a few good shots.
Here's one of them in one of the locations i've been willing to use for so long here in Rome!
On top of that, right out of the blue, this morning my new wireless transceivers arrived!
You have no idea how excited I was to try them out and to actually be able to shoot with multiple flashes... Pretty much like a overgrown kid on christmas day!
And, hey, first time for me to TRY something like this, a bit more sparkle and glamour than usual, right?! I have to say i'm also pretty satisfied with the result!
Eleven done, JUST 39 to go!

I love these dolls, they remind me of Liv! Only the deluxe ones that come with an experiment have articulated bodies.
Boy bringing home a couple of coconuts for lunch .... they may be making lap-lap, which is coconut and bananas wrapped in banana leaves cooked on an open fire .... I didn't have the pleasure of trying any ... next time ...
Nobody in the villages own an stove or oven ...all meals are cooked on open fires ...even refrigerators are very a very rare commodity ...as is electricity and running water .

I began (thinking about) this project about 12 years ago. The stack of landscape blocks will form the outer sides of the back and side fence. Then, a circle of larger landscape bricks will be place in the middle of a triangle formed with those flat blocks. Inside that circle I hope to get irises planted later this Fall.
The process needed to prepare this corner involves separating the soil from the landscape rocks, throwing away the weeds, grass, and other unneeded things. I use that frame made of 2x4 lumber with 1/2-inch (1.27 cm) wire mesh to separate the rocks from the soil. The soil will be piled in one place; the rocks will be taken to another area behind my garage until needed. The red bucket is used to gather the soil, the white bucket is for the rocks.
I'm using this as my 'Start" photo to give an idea how the transformation of this corner will take place. This project will not get done in a week or so. It will take some time, and that depends on the weather here. I'll try to get more photos as this project moves forward.
Another thing: I use cardboard as collection sheets as I can lift and carry them to where I need the soil or rocks, then dump them into their separate piles. Cardboard saves a lot of time and once you're done, you simply recycle them. Cost to me: Nothing, except sweat equity (and maybe some liquid refreshment, like Dr Pepper!)
And yes, I always wear gloves to protect my hands when working like this.
I won this 1974 Polaroid SX-70 Model 2 in an auction that I bid on and forgot about until it showed up on my doorstep.
Reskinning took around two hours from start to finish. The new skin is well-made recycled leather but not as thick as the original fake leather, which you can see from the first photo was discolored and crumbly.
Probably should have run some film through first to see if it was worth putting in the effort, but it was a fun if messy project.

I present a lady came in this morning, this is a Amarri, with a change in the mechanism of the eyes made by Little Crow.
This girl just makes me dream, so I will do a project little by little, taking care to pay attention to every detail.
For starters, it has a mixture of Obitsu white & clear. And odd-eyed orange & blue.

I've found that strawberries have a very short shelf life unless you store them in a glass jar
ODC - 5/3/2016 - Past Its Prime
Era il mio male, ne ero certo,
respiravo a fatica e lui,
gli occhi arrossati a sangue
un cardigan multicolore aperto
era uno regolare dai capelli
grigi corti sulla fronte rigonfia,
che aveva fatto e rifatto con ansia
le scale del palazzo per trovarmi.
Aspettava impaziente
mi guardava come in pianto cattivo
di detestazione. “No” gli gridavo
a vuoto“non entrare” Cado all’indietro
senza gravità, mi resta
solo la punta a gamba tesa del piede
contro la porta scura che resiste
e nella gola un vermiciattolo si muove
a gorgogliare inutilmente aiuto.
Ci fu una lotta eterna millimetrica
la faccia sul cuscino
il nome di Lucia sussurrato
nell’urlo muto per chiedere soccorso.
Era il mio male
che mi aspetta.
