Project 365 05/07/2017: Lego was having an exhibit throughout the mall in Lone Tree and had this Lego Capitol Building on display. I'd imagine a model this size would take at least a million pieces and long hours to build.

In Island Bay for the Festival and the Blessing of the Boats I saw this burst of colour on the beach - all made from bottle tops. I loved the way the young girl's hat echoed it.

someone used to stand here by me
and talk and wash and look at the tree
but now they are gone forever it seems
and now all I'm left with is my dreams ...
children would laugh and call out to me
hurry up Mum ~ what is for our tea ?
but now they have gone and all that is left
are memories stirred of the very best . . .
After the Great Blue Heron flew off, I backtracked to see if I could find him but to no avail and suddenly I came across this beauty. Long-eared Owl looking at me. He did not waste much time with me and flew off but I did get a couple of more sightings of him but not great ones. When he flew, something else caught my eye, another owl!

Want to work with me? Just let me know!
A special commission project inspired by the cosmos, zodiacs and the friendship of 2 special people in my life... how in our inconspicuous speck of existence in this universe, each speck connects to another with love and energy of friendship and respect turning into a higher form of existence...
Not because the project itself looks bad. It's aiite for someone who more or less knows fuck-all about Adobe Illustrator. It's because I spent hours making it only for the file to get corrupted. Twice. Now I'm gonna have to turn this in late.

It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life, for me
And I'm feeling good
Not a proper 'back light' but I owed myself this one having shivered for a long time waiting for the sun to appear !
Another shot from my Impossible Project First Flush pack. Levels change in Photoshop, it is a very muddy dim image indeed on the actual print.
The current PX70 overexposes (or my pack did, in my camera) but is a much better film.
When my Isuzu Trooper decided to throw a rod in October, I've been technically car-less since. After it bit the dust, I was driving a Dodge Ram 1500 which was far from pleasurable to drive, but since I have been lucky enough to have this little guy pass smog. I've only been driving stick since I began driving this truck in the beginning of November and I don't miss driving an automatic at all. Since I've began driving stick it's just made me love driving even more. The giant loss of power is completely made up for thanks to the excitement the 5 speed transmission adds to driving.
My contributions to the collaboration that took place at Brickcon 2012. I forgot to upload this lol.
Source Wikipedia
The Eden Project (Cornish: Edenva) is a popular visitor attraction in Cornwall, England, UK. Inside the two biomes are plants that are collected from many diverse climates and environments. The project is located in a reclaimed china clay pit, located 2 km (1.2 mi) from the town of St Blazey and 5 km (3 mi) from the larger town of St Austell.
The complex is dominated by two huge enclosures consisting of adjoining domes that house thousands of plant species, and each enclosure emulates a natural biome. The biomes consist of hundreds of hexagonal and pentagonal, inflated, plastic cells supported by steel frames. The largest of the two biomes simulates a rainforest environment and the second, a Mediterranean environment. The attraction also has an outside botanical garden which is home to many plants and wildlife native to Cornwall and the UK in general; it also has many plants that provide an important and interesting backstory, for example, those with a prehistoric heritage. Project 366-1
Day 150/365
These are planted in a neighbors yard. Once again I don't know what they are, but I know I like them.
Time.....quality time. My hope is to fill 2013 with more quality time with my kiddos, my husband and my friends. This image was taken while spending time with my daughter this week. After days of rain, the sun made an appearance so we rushed off for an adventure. We stumbled onto a new trail and found ourselves on the beach. As time passes this coming year, I'm excited to have Project 52 to root me in the present moment, to challenge me, and I can't wait to look back on each precious memory. Happy New Year! :)

The water tower at the Neckardreef was built between 1934 and 1935 by order of the municipality Maartensdijk.
It is designed in the style of the Amsterdam School by architect JL Pateer, waterworks manager in the north west of Utrecht. The tower was built as part of an employment project during the crisis years. The octagonal tower has a height of 48.6 meters. The concrete flat bottom tank has a capacity of 500 m³.
Due to annexation of a part of the municipality Maartensdijk, the tower came in 1954 within the boundaries of the city of Utrecht . The tower is now enclosed by the Water Tower Park in Overvecht.
The tower has the status of a national monument.
