You'd never know we were in a down market based on the number of new development condo properties going up in Liberty Village. Why do I get the feeling that 30 years from now Liberty Village will be what St. James Town was in the 1990s?
My first brand promos in over a year. I was a little nervous, but since they were all my friends it made it a lot easier. I'm so happy to have the color tone like this in these photos. I've been using black and white kodak film for one whole year and switching to color film was a little weird. But now I'm confident on what to use if I want to shoot color again.

I tried a different joint system this time. Can’t say yet if I have a favorite or not. Still getting used to working with clay.
the afghan spread upon a double (full) bed in the guest room.
this afghan is a study in color, pattern, staying power and patience! using a combo of yarn from my stash and yarn from thrift store adventures, i'm crafting an eclectic and pratical piece of fiber art.
this afghan process began in november 2005. i've worked in huge bursts off and on throughout the last 8 months. my goal is a completed afghan before 2007. will i make it?
Ex-LMSR 'Jubilee' No. 45699 'Galatea' restarts a charter working from a signal check on the last leg of it's journey into Shrewsbury station. The train is West Coast Railway Company's 1Z49 0552 Cleethorpes - Shrewsbury on 5th October 2013 which operated diesel-hauled to Crewe where 'Galatea' then took over for the remainder of the journey, working via Chester and Wrexham General. Many heads hang out of carriage windows to check progress, as the locomotive approaches the complex point work on the approach to the station. From day 3 of accident to first time shooting. Thanks Steve Molick for taking me out to shoot. Should be walking in a couple of weeks....
Yesterday I started a 'Learn to knit socks' course with two friends from my patchwork class. I have forgotten all I ever knew about knitting with DPN's (which wasn't a lot) so it was a *fun* first lesson.
I struggled big time to begin with and ended up having to rip everything off the needles and start again. But I managed it in the end.....and we have progress! LOL!
My homework for this week is to finish the rib section.
Più lontano si va e più è difficile tornare indietro. Il mondo ha molti bordi, ed è facile cadere.

This looks like the main structure of building C is getting close to its maximum height. The only section of naked rebar looks like it will be the home to elevator machinery.
HUGE HUGS.
Hi Everyone. Long time! :) I missed you all immensely.
This photo here is symbolic. Quite a lot has been going on here. I've finally finished my engineering exams and only the last sem training is left now. Though I've a few more management entrace examinations to write.
BTW, some good news, I am an "Adobe Certified Expert" now. :) Also, I'm planning to open my corporate communications and creative designing firm with my old friend Vikas Pethiya in a few months so preparations are on for that too.
I hope you'd see more of me in the coming days and that I'd see some of the enthralling work that you guys are producing.
Hope your Christmas celebrations were grand and that you have a very happy new year too.
Love

Cruising through the countryside at Beamish Museum is this absolute masterpiece of motor car preservation, a 1901 four seater made by The Progress Cycle Co. of Coventry (UK) and registered M 115.
This priceless example of the 500 made by the company is believed to be one of only two remaining today.
The Progress Cycle Company made cars from 1898 until 1903. They also made motorcycles between 1900 and 1905.
The car was at Beamish for the Steam Gala event on 9/10 April 2022.

The Carousel of Progress is an attraction located at the Magic Kingdom Park at the Walt Disney World Resort, currently operating under the name Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress. Created by both Walt Disney and WED Enterprises as the prime feature of the General Electric (GE) Pavilion for the 1964 New York World's Fair, the attraction was moved to Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California, remaining there from 1967 until 1973. It was replaced in Disneyland by America Sings in 1974, and reopened in its present home in Walt Disney World Resort's Magic Kingdom in 1975.
Steeped in both nostalgia and futurism, the attraction's premise is an exploration of the joys of living through the advent of electricity and other technological advances during the 20th century via a "typical" American family. To keep it up with the times, the attraction has been updated five times (in 1967, 1975, 1981, 1985, and 1993) and has had two different theme songs, both written by the Sherman Brothers (Disney's Academy Award-winning songwriting team).
Various sources say Walt Disney himself proclaimed that the Carousel of Progress was his favorite attraction and that it should never cease operation. This can be somewhat supported by family and friends, who knew of his constant work on the attraction. Of all the attractions he presented at the 1964–1965 New York World's Fair, Disney seemed especially devoted to the Carousel of Progress.
The Carousel of Progress holds the record as the longest-running stage show, with the most performances, in the history of American theater. It is one of the oldest attractions in the whole Walt Disney World Resort. It is also one of the only attractions at Walt Disney World to have been touched by Walt Disney himself.

Statement: When I saw Stanely Twardowics' photograph of gondolas, I was captivated by the crystal clear reflection seen in the water. I've always been intrigued by reflections, when I was younger I used to think there was something on the other side trying to pass through the world but couldn't because its equal counterpart would block it from entering. It is this childhood theory that has helped me come to think of an idea for my project. This man in the Guardian of one realm and trying to keep the mirror realm at bay.

Saturday
day 1 (minus a few trial tiles) of tile installation
day 5 of house renovations
i took a picture of the progress, happen to post it, and Vic commented how it was a great backdrop for a picture. so, i took advantage of the break the guys were on, and set up my phone to snap. :D so thank you, Vic for that b/c i was able to shoot my 365 right there and then.
we ended up finishing the living room completely, the hallway, bathroom, dining, kitchen and laundry room. at some point, over the tile that had already set from the night before, i did a little merengue w/ the hubs, and then "flashdanced" to "she's a maniac". hahah!! and all that was left to do for sunday was measure & cut the tile for the edge/border up against the wall.
Long, long, long day and i couldn't be prouder of the husband and the work he's put in. he's busted his ass like no other to get this done. thank the heavens the ones that came through to help us, even in the smallest of ways. we're so blessed to have such a great people in our lives. :D
also, to everyone showing support online <3
