Plenty of detail if you want to zoom in and gave a rummage around. You might even find a Hedgehog!

Barbara and I have been busy! trimming off branches and opening up the view…

Well, I made some progress today. Tweeking the design as I go, naturally! I tried paper piecing, but didn't like all the bulk I was getting from the seams, so it will be fused, raw edge applique. Thinking I might swap out those three pale geese, though - waddaya think?

Greetings fellow hobbyists!

I just thought I'd bring you up to date on my Warlock helmet. I put the first patch of Bondo body filler on the helmet. I'll be covering the entire helmet in the days to come, but for now just the back has some on it.

Also, this is my first time working with a toxic material, so I got to buy myself a respirator! :D I get really excited about things like that. But I think it just makes my family worry about me. :P

I think that's all for now, the next update will probably be the complete Bondo covering, sand and primed. So.... I guess talk to you then. TTYL!

As always, tell me what you guys think, I'd love to hear what you have to say! :) Drop a fave, comment or even a follow. They all go a long way!

Seeya in the next one!

Another from the recent Archives... Matauri Bay, a beautiful, unspoiled beach a few kilometres north of the Bay Of Islands which has so far avoided new housing estates...

Sadly, it looks like things are about to change... and they call it "Progress"...!

Averil joins me in thanking everyone who left such kind Messages beneath the previous photo; thank you also to those of you who shared your own personal Journeys...! Your words, thoughts, and prayers were all very greatly appreciated!

Thanks for taking the time and trouble to leave a Comment, Folks. It's always nice to hear from you...!

Overnight shot of a beautiful hill and copse of trees that will soon disappear in a new development. This will be the second time the land is developed. Somebody used to have a house in the trees at the top, but all that is left now is the foundation up there. It was incredibly peaceful sitting under the trees, enjoying the view and listening to the wind blow.

In a seemingly depressing news week there was potential for some good news. Doubt has been cast on the future of the Garden Bridge in London. Millions of public money has been wasted already but at least more might not be spent. This would bring to an end to public money being used to create a public place/private space in central London within sight of the City banking area. Imagine if bankers of today followed the example of their Victorian counterparts and paid to create public spaces in London (and other cities), especially in more deprived areas.

the young lady walks past, almost certainly oblivious to the fact that the building to her right was for over 200 years, between 1793 until 2013 "the devonshire arms" until jamie oliver came along, turned it into an over-priced restaurant and slapped his name all over it. that's progress folks.

buenas dias,....in movimento!

We had a sew day today and I got my A, B and C blocks done.

Today the Dukha are, with the help of funding from the Mongolian government, striving to survive. Despite this endeavor, every tepee has a solar panel and some have a satellite dish to capture a TV signal.

Tried some really odd settings for this one with a high f-stop. Sometimes when making a stylized photo i find the softer look helps make an almost retro look.

We scrapped dirt and rust still a bit, then cleaned this part and finally applied a layer of primer.

You will notice that the axle is still missing, therefore the bogie is put on the small stand and strapped to the main body.

Walking up St.-Mary-On-Hill, I was again struck by how much construction was going on in London - and what is lost in the construction.

I have a sore wrist, I should be wearing a splint but it's a nuisance. Instead of doing any knitting or crochet I'm looking at my various unfinished projects and sighing.
