AP - A blockage caused progress to be stopped on the tracks yesterday. A stop sign was knocked over, likely the result of a vehicle collision. Damage was minimal to the sign post, and crews were in later that day to hoist the stop sign back into place. The mirror is expected to make a full recovery.
The only witness, a local warehouse that was sitting nearby at the time, declined to speak to reporters. Officials suspect driver error while backing out of the parking lot bordering the tracks. The investigation is ongoing.

Ecco l'immobilità del pensiero, ben peggiore a quella fisica.....
La Convenzione, con i suoi 50 articoli, elabora in dettaglio i diritti delle persone con disabilità. Si occupa, tra l'altro, di diritti civili e politici, accessibilità, partecipazione, diritto all'educazione, alla salute, al lavoro e alla protezione sociale. E soprattutto, la Convenzione riconosce che un cambiamento di atteggiamento nella società è indispensabile per consentire alle persone con disabilità di raggiungere la piena eguaglianza.
Immobili in un mondo che sfreccia, che non è piu' controllabile, che è in continuo mutamento e trasformazione.
Spesso ci si sofferma su tutto ciò che non si capisce, ma poi dopo un attenta riflessione si va avanti.....Noi no! no ci fermiamo e nemmeno mettiamo benzina, usciamo dalla macchina e guardiamo gli atri correre, sfrecciare sull'autostrada del progresso e delle riforme sociali.

The short departs Norwich with just two coaches and you can see work in progress for the re signalling. The old carriage sidings are still intact and have had all the vegetation strimmed. I wonder if this will be used for the new units now Brantham is dead in the water.

the young lady walks past, almost certainly oblivious to the fact that the building to her right was for over 200 years, between 1793 until 2013 "the devonshire arms" until jamie oliver came along, turned it into an over-priced restaurant and slapped his name all over it. that's progress folks.
I have a sore wrist, I should be wearing a splint but it's a nuisance. Instead of doing any knitting or crochet I'm looking at my various unfinished projects and sighing.
Not fair.

Walking up St.-Mary-On-Hill, I was again struck by how much construction was going on in London - and what is lost in the construction.
Terrance is really tired. He can't remember how long he's been flying, but, he knows he's really hungry and thirsty. He thought it wouldn't be any problem flying to the other side of the photo, but, he just doesn't seem to be making any progress. It kind of made him think he was fighting against the government, not air.

Shot near Berlin Central Station. One of my top ten cities I have traveled to. This was taken while on my way back to my hotel. I had just witnessed an amazing sunset on my last night and couldn't help but stop and try to make my time here last longer.
Finally, progress.
Super happy with this model, always wanted to build one, and now (for OcTrainber) I have one!
There is a weight in the middle of the engine that keeps it from tipping backwards and the BuWizz motor fits inside nicely. Still to test the pulling/pushing power, but I imagine it can handle around 6-8 wagons.
Lots more to do for the competition, but this is a huge step in the right direction!

Scott, Blaine and Sassy
So... Scott got a haircut. It was a spur of the moment decision. Sassy was like "cut it off", so I did ;-P and I have to admit, I like him better with short hair!
She also checked up on Blaine's progress. His reroot is not fully done yet (hence the hat) but I like how he's coming along. He was supposed to debut his new look in the F2K, Vol. II premiere but I couldn't resist including him in this shot, unfinished and all xD
I have a bit more time to build this week (since Thursday was Ascension Day, which is a national holiday in the Netherlands), and made a fair bit of progress on this model. The tail fins and the aft fuselage are coming together and I completed the bays for the main gear. You can see one leg extended and the other retracted in this picture. So far it works like a charm.
There still are a fair few things I have to build, such as the upper half of the aft fuselage including the air brake and the cockpit interior (and floor). And then I have to make stickers but the model is getting very close to completion, so this is likely the last work in progress picture.

Progress 'S' LH546 in Buckie. Not sure why the name is half painted out on the bow, perhaps this boat has been sold. Paintwork on the stern looks a bit weary too. Built by Mackay's of Arbroath in 1988 as Emma Kathleen.
Sentinel 0-4-0 'Progress' (works number 10283) brings the first portion of the 6M32 Lindsey to Preston bitumen working across the swingbridge on Preston Docks on May 28th 2020. The train is split in the exchange sidings and tripped down to the Total UK plant on Chain Caul Way.
'Progress' was one of a trio of Sentinel diesel shunters supplied new to what was then Preston Corporation in 1968. The other two being 'Energy' and 'Enterprise'
