New Year's Resolution No. #1 is to finish this quilt! My goal is to have it complete by March 1st~just in time to back it with a print from the re-release of FMF. See, there is a method to my madness.
Inglewood Point. Lighthouse by Culprit. Anyone else still have a love for 'old fashioned' builds? I love mesh and sculpts had their time - but sometimes I just love the clean edges of a prim. This house might have some mesh to it - I'm not sure - but I love it's SL circa 2010 look :)
An abandoned classroom at Hall Summit school. If I hadn't already done the research on this place and knew that it was abandoned in 2001, I would have guessed that it had been vacant since the early 90s. Time has not been kind to this school.
When I started 7th grade, I had to change school. Because back then we didn't have a Högstadium where I lived. My classmates and I had to take the bus, or the commuter train, to Jordbro, and the Jordbromalmsskolan. And now that school is history. New apartments and a preschool are under construction where my old school used to be.
So im guessing phone camera's have improved over the past 6 yrs., would you agree? Which pic looks better according to you, left or right?

Despite a country-wide housing crunch, commercial development in the PNW is robust. A number of high-rises are going up. Commercial Real Estate in downtown urban areas still command high premiums. New retailers are moving in, along with the hopes of high-end downtown luxury living. We'll see. I'm cautiously optimistic.

BNSF 1320 at Riverbank, CA moving DIC on H PASBAR1 08A from Progress Rail in Tacoma, WA to it's new assignment in San Bernardino, CA.
The Mermaid Fountain (Chafariz das Sereias) in Belém is getting a makeover. Time will tell if it can return to its Belle Époque glory.

Boards installed, now I need to install the lower frame members and stake them so that back-filling doesn't push this all under the deck. The boards were all pre-drilled (top and bottom) and, although the order of operations might seem a bit odd, it will be easy enough to remove two or three boards, drive a few pieces of rebar into the ground, and then close everything up again ready for backfilling. Donut Bunny hopes to be planting veggies by Monday--that rabbit can be a bit of a slave-driver!
Background status has made it to complete.
Time to seriously hit up the foreground because I don't want to ever paint another tree again till I absolutely have to.
Uugh it's going to be magical upon completion.

finally. After days of working on this. had to remove the heater core box, the hood, the tranny dipstick, attempting to remove the inner fender and giving up, I tried a sawsall. viola. now I need to let this stub sit and soak as long as I can stand it. Might be till next week.
