This building was put up back in 1989...22 years ago, in building years...it was still quite "young". I can only imagine the property value went way up as this is right across the street from the Richmond Olympic Oval...and you guessed it...they're building condos...Progress!

Although fascinated with the human body, my favourite part of it to draw/paint is the face and a huge part of that love goes into facial expressions and exaggeration.

 

In my GCSE’s for my final piece I decided to create a painting on the ‘Skull Beneath the Skin’. I wasn’t happy with the outcome of this painting so more recently decided to revisit it and redo it, as I like the concept of it, but not the outcome.

Admittedly, progress on Domingo is slow going.

My Mom, exhibiting the progress she's made on a friend's requested costume for the Comic Con.

It has been so hot that it's hard to get to good shots. Some were taken in the mid afternoon and some in the evening. Just documenting the progress of the garden for the midseason point for the year.

It looks like the Umbrella symbol, but it isn't. :D

This is Knitty.com's Wavy scarf using some of the newer Cascade 220 Quatro (color 9433). It's a cool yarn and a nifty pattern. I'm enjoying it.

2 weeks after planting in the cold frame, my little veggies are vegetating. This week, it's supposed to get into the 30s, so we'll see...
