Another word that can shift your mindset to help you reach your goals.

Joined by Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control Secretary David Small, State Senator David McBride, Recycling Public Advisory Council Chair B.J. Vinton, Delaware Solid Waste Authority Chief of Business and Government Services Michael Parkowski, ReCommunity Regional Business Development Manager Robert Anderson, as well as other community partners, Governor Markell highlighted the state’s ranking as one of the nation’s leaders in recycling, through its Universal Recycling Law, policies, and programs, which have all resulted in positive impacts to Delaware’s economy and environment.

Spray painted the chair (needs another coat). Covered the IKEA cushion pad with plain double crochet Rowan yarn with carefully selected colour combination. The granny squares are a work in progress cushion cover in same colour scheme.

All of the over-wintered plants (begonias and coleus) are outside and putting up new growth. The petunias and verebena in the front boxes are coming along, and last year's caladium tubers are putting up leaves in the corner round planter. In the lower-left corner, the very last of the pansies are sharing a pot with the very last daffodil (which never bloomed). It's just about time to pull it up (along with the very last of the muscari), dry it out, and stick it in a bag for next year.

Need to take some proper photos soon...

this used to be just a footpath through the fields, now they're digging a road, laying drains ... it'll all be condos in a few years. sigh.

Lots of work under the wings, still looks a bit tatty!

I've been making myself practice my bass at least an hour a day. Right now I'm working on being able to play and sing at the same time. So far,I can play two Rilo Kiley songs (Pictures of Success, The Execution of All Things) all the way through while singing.

Practice makes...well, not perfect, but improvement...

Working on the body, then I'll do sleeves and the ribbed neckband.

The Christmas gifts sewn this afternoon. Not too shabby with five distractions (children), a nursing baby, nap time (I have to be by him at all times for a nap), and more. Oregon Ducks and Carolina Panthers colors on the two velour shirts.

We also got to see the progress on my (Chad's) parent's house. It's coming along, slowly but surely.
