I took this of a sleeping gorilla at Animal Kingdom; he looked so peaceful; amongst the hundreds and thousands of people that peer and poke and prod at him at all hours of the day.
And here are the bottles on the (upside down) shelf. I also made three little scrolls, again just watered-down water color smeared on torn up paper rolls, and held together by braided thread. The knots have a dab of clear polish to hold them together. Voila!

I started this in a class at Country Stitches, in East Lansing, Michigan.
My progress so far on the coats! I am really loving them and they are fun to make. I went out and got a lot more felt today, so tomorrow I'll be sewing up a bunch more and listing the first batch either in the shop or on PP.
The girl in the foreground has made a lot of progress on her starts over the year our family has been part of The Claremont Cub swim team. A year ago she could barely lean forward into the pool from a sitting position on the deck.. Now she is able to make a dive off the block. She has an extreme phobia and has been able to work past it to do a dive off the blocks.
