Progress so far. Going to have to re-stitch some of the petal turnovers but it's very close to completion
Work in progress. Texture paste, paint, stamping and tape. Includes a gel transfer from a large print word search in the background. The birds were all one stamp that I put on tissue paper and cut out. Not sure what to do next on this one but it was fun experimenting with the texture paste and stencil. The idea to stamp on the texture paste came from a youtube video but I forget who's. Another page in my newspaper flyer journal
essex linen in lime and railroad denim::the denims are all so completely different so it's a little challenging to work with. Some are really heavy and some very light and loosely woven, but I like the different textures and subtle differences in colors.
About 4 years after the old Parcelforce building was demolished and about 2 since construction work was started, this apartment block is crawling towards completion. The development is not to everyone's liking though, being so tall.

Making progress on the driveway, about halfway to the road at the end of day 1 of the storm. The drifts are up to 5 feet. Cheektowaga, NY 11-18-14

The Town Hall Photographer’s Collection is a large photographic collection held in Manchester City Council’s Central Library archives, ranging in date from 1956 to 2007.
The collection consists of tens of thousands of images, covering the varied areas of work of Manchester Corporation and latterly, Manchester City Council.
The photographs were taken by staff photographers, who were tasked to document the work of Corporation/Council departments and, in doing so, captured many aspects of Manchester life and history, including significant changes to the Manchester landscape.
The collection includes many different formats from glass negatives, to slides, prints, CDs and even a couple of cine films.
What is especially exciting is that the majority of these images have never before been available in a digital format and therefore have only ever been seen by a handful of people.
A team of dedicated Staff and Volunteers are currently working on the systematic digitisation of the negatives held within the collection.
This album represents the result of their work to date.
Having only just left Rigby Road Depot Blackpool Transports Progress Twin-Car 864+674 stands on Lytham Road, waiting at the traffic lights before crossing the over the main road onto the Promenade.

This locomotive was built by Robert Stephenson & Hawthorn in 1946. It is the last remaining example of a 16 inch inside cylinder locomotive designed by Hawthorn Leslie at Newcastle.

This picture was taken during the 2006/7 Hajj. The black cubic building is the Kaaba. Multitude of pilgrims are encircling the Kaaba seven times in the rite known as "tawaf."
