Ecovolis is a program that aims to promote ecological transportation by bicycle, giving our city more clean air, adding a civic European practice that helps economic, social and environmental development of our community.
The bicycle stations now are a reality in Albania. The first public bicycle adapted by Eco-Bicycle Team is called Ecovolis. Eco Volis comes from Latin and means ecological flight (flight volis in Latin). The citizens and the community of Tirana will be able to use it for their daily needs, helping to relieve congestion and reduce carbon emissions, but also to raise the fitness level of citizens, improve the quality of neighborhood life, and relieve pressure on municipal budgets. The first Ecovolis stations will be close to Youth Park, in the Tirana Park and other key points for transportation of the citizens of Tirana. Everyone can use this service by subscribing to the Eco Bicycle to benefit by the possibility of using Ecovolis and also many other alternatives offered by Eco Bicycle. This ambitious project is the first of its kind in the Balkans, will soon spread to other major cities of Albania.
This was a youth soccer program that was run in the Jane and Finch community. I came out one day as a representative of BYCAV (Black Youth Coalition Against Violence) to see how this initiative as going. The founder was making fundraising plans to get all the players proper uniforms. Was an exciting game and great activity for the young people involved.

This exhibition features current work by the talented artists who make up the Fall 2015 roster of instructors at the Ceramics Program, Office for the Arts at Harvard. This expert group of instructors inspire students and engage them in developing critical and technical skills for making functional and expressive vessels, figurative and abstract sculpture, murals and works on paper.
Sky High Ranch Camp staff trained through each program area, including pond and arts and crafts activities.
Morgan State University hosted a day-long visit from current U.S. Secretary of the Army Christine Wormuth, who along with a contingent of officials, learned more about the University’s existing research efforts and developing research initiatives while touring the Center of Excellence (COE) for Advanced Electro-Photonics with Two-Dimensional Materials as well as other scientific laboratories. The Secretary also engaged with Morgan’s longstanding Bear Battalion ROTC program at as special ceremony in which Future Soldiers were sworn and other cadets were presented with Challenge Coins and awarded scholarships.
