The Florida International University (FIU) College of Business (COB) Mentor Program, which links students with executives for one-on-one mentoring, end of the year celebration at the Rusty Pelican in Key Biscayne. Students and mentors had the opportunity to network with other students and mentors.

The North Charleston Police Department implemented Project S.T.A.N.D (Stop and Take A New Direction) aimed at not just arresting low level narcotics dealers with little or no prior criminal history but to go a step further and help those involved in the activity change their lives for the better. This is program aimed at reducing recidivism through working on all aspects of the criminals’ lives.
This project was the focus of a Dateline NBC special entitled “Intersection” which aired on March 14, 2013.

Students of U.S. Naval War College’s (NWC) 2019 graduating class participate in a commencement ceremony on Dewey Field in Newport, R.I., June 14. The graduating class of 2019 included 318 resident students of the Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, federal civilian employees and 110 international students. Additionally, 1,080 students completed coursework through NWC’s College of Distance Education programs.

A ceremony celebrating the latest group of interns to complete the Aboriginal Youth Internship Program (AYIP) is held October 25, 2016.
The event – attended by Chiefs, elders and leaders from First Nations communities across the province – showcases a program that helps First Nations, Metis and Inuit youth gain work experience in government and community organizations. As well as work experience, AYIP provides participants with valuable networking, professional and leadership skill development.
This year marks a milestone for the program, which has welcomed 10 cohorts of interns to its ranks.

Susan Ladenburger in India 🇮🇳 Jaipur at the Orphanage Program. I have worked with children in my practice as a dental hygienist and in school settings as a teaching assistant for special needs children. I found the work to be personally rewarding and life changing. I hope that by volunteering I can provide the children with a sense of being loved and cared for.
