The North Charleston Police Department implemented Project S.T.A.N.D (Stop and Take A New Direction) aimed at not just arresting low level narcotics dealers with little or no prior criminal history but to go a step further and help those involved in the activity change their lives for the better. This is program aimed at reducing recidivism through working on all aspects of the criminals’ lives.
This project was the focus of a Dateline NBC special entitled “Intersection” which aired on March 14, 2013.

Irene Hirano Inouye hosted a dinner on Thursday, June 25th for NGO leaders visiting DC as part of the TOMODACHI NGO Leadership Program supported by JP Morgan. Attendees of the event included DC area USJC members, US and Japanese government representatives, as well as prominent NGO leaders.
This was likely someone's prized possession. Today, it lies broken, staring out through a shattered window and across the prairie.
I stayed up until 2am one night printing our programs. We forgot to hand them out before the wedding...Doh! DELEGATE!

Directed by Tom Moore with choreography by Robert Kipp, sets by Douglas W. Schmidt, costumes by Carrie F. Robbins and lighting by Francis Reid.
This production is notable for being early stage roles for both Tracey Ullman (as 'Frenchy') and Su Pollard (as 'Cha-Cha').

Youth from around the state attend the ninth annual Virginia National Guard Youth Camp July 21-25, 2014, at Camp Pendleton in Virginia Beach. The weeklong camp, presented by the Virginia National Guard Family Programs Office, offers the children of Virginia military members a wide variety of outdoor and indoor activities, including swimming and fishing, arts & crafts, classes on flag etiquette, science and the environment, and trips to Ocean Breeze Water Park, the Virginia Aquarium and Busch Gardens. Maybe a desert landscape...Lots to learn on this program, but anyone that loves Linework as much as I will love it...Endless possibilities with brush sizes and colors...Amazing time waster!! A LOT OF FUN!!!!!

This is using a very simple iterative approach, one of the many methods described here:

The downside is that movement is pretty robotic and not in a good way. Does the job though, but I'm trying a few more things.
It looks a bit extra robotic as it obeys rotational constraints on the joints and the approach I am using here will sometimes not immediately find a better solution for the joints if the solution is "far away".
