Lowell Sawyer was Carolyn's father, who died in August of 2012. He will be missed.
BACKSTORY: Lowell is buried at Stafford Memorial Gardens. In 1980, a door-to-door salesman came and sold them 2 plots at Stafford Memorial Gardens for $380. To get the plots today, it would have cost $3,000. Carolyn's Dad made a good investment!

Block School, South Dansville, New York. Neat little souvenir program. It has a photo of a pretty lady one it. Must be the youg lady who was graduating and that this program belonged to. It is just the front cover, these two pages and a back cover. The back cover had no info on it & I did not copy it. The program is held together by a piece of string passed through the holes on top.

Ambassador María del Socorro Flores Liera, Permanent Representative of Mexico to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations in Geneva, speaks on November 11, 2019 at the opening of a new training and mentoring program aimed at strengthening the capacity of women entrepreneurs from indigenous peoples and local communities to make strategic and effective use of intellectual property (IP) rights, in support of projects based on traditional knowledge (TK) and traditional cultural expressions (TCEs).
Twenty four women entrepreneurs have been selected from the hundreds of applicants who applied to participate in the Program. They include artisans, designers, performing artists, researchers, healers or small-scale farmers who are planning, or have already initiated, a project based on TK and/or TCEs which includes an IP component.
