I know it, the donut knows it.

A thing I made to remind me about Procrastination

pink items spotted within a 3-block radius of my office. (I was running a "quick" errand and didn't want to go back to work!)

Procrastination quotes What is right is often forgotten by what is convenient

I downloaded a free texture from Kim Klassen and this was still open in Photoshop. And, well, I am procrastinating at the moment and this gave me a (seeming) purpose.

ETA: I accidentally deleted my original upload of this (despite the warning from Flickr when I pushed that button). Doh! My apologies to kleine_moewe and Allan Saw for deleting their sweet replies.

at it's absolute best.

i have to find "the good edits" for three chapters by tomorrow morn. sigh.

My life as of late consists of time well wasted.

according to squirrelnet.com:

"A common misconception about squirrels is that they hibernate during the winter. While true that squirrels are rarely seen during extreme cold, this is because they remain near their nest where it is warm."

This is what happens when I can't get started on a project...I end up building fun structures with the magnets and whatever I can find on my desk in my studio.

I've been wanting to go to this place up the street to take pictures but I am a Procrastinator at it's best. So, since there isn't any school tomorrow I'm going. :)

masturbation. because it feels good at first, then you realize your just fucking yourself at the end

Putting off some boring chores by doing some narcassistic self-portraits.

Avoiding revision by taking photos of it. Not a very good edit, just wanted to see what this could look like.

Another minifig entry for the "Space Villain's Summer Vacation" contest in the Lego sci-fi group (... if they're going to extend the deadline again, might as well have a little fun with it).

____________________________________________________________

Peter the Procrastinator* is a notorious space theme villain. He has held entire LEGO communities hostage for never-ending periods of time, and must be stopped.

During his summer vacation from juvenile space detention (for the crime of excessive Sharpie use on helpless mini-figs), he was going to build an entry for a “Summer Vacation Contest”. He told the judges he had an epic idea, and that he needed “just a few more parts” to finish it. The contest deadline should only have been one month (Sept. 30th), but he got it extended to two months. But why a two-month deadline? Well, he had plenty of excuses: school was about to start, he was waiting on a BrickArms/Bricklink order, his Sharpies were all dried-up, etc… The excuses worked, and he got the original deadline extended to Oct. 31st.

And how did he use all that extra time? Instead of working on his “uber-cool” entry during vacation, he procrastinated and played Halo all day and night. He forgot about the contest until the deadline day came, and there was no way he would finish in time (and there were BrickArms prizes at stake!). Luckily, for some reason the judges still believed he was working on something epic. Noticing that he hadn’t submitted an entry yet, the judges extended the deadline a second time to Nov. 5th. This was unknown to almost all the other entrants until after the fact... Will his reign of terror never cease? Will he finally stop procrastinating and finish his entry?... Or will the “Summer Vacation Contest” extend further into the dark days of winter?...

*any resemblance to actual contest procrastinators or enabling judges is purely coincidental.

Een nieuwe serie van Lernert & Sander

Procrastinators... we zijn het allemaal. Check mail, volg link, facebook, youtube, check

This is what I do when I have an assignment due. Anything but the assignment. Although I have to admit the strong salty winds (just on the other side of that cliff is the Pacific Ocean) and open sky cleared my head.

I wanted to be in a long flowing dress, standing up and free. But it was cold, raining and very very windy. So the ugg boots, tights and thick woolen jumper won over in the end.

This was my first piece. It is a painting made to resemble a rough sketch of a person. My theme is failure, so this piece was meant to portray a failure to make a complete piece.

since I can't put them in my professional portfolio they go here lol

I've got loads of editing work to do, so naturally I glued necklace bits to my face and pulled dramaticly vain poses.

Oh! Extra silly justification - I just got a new 35mm lens so obviously it needed testing.

I originally edited the blurry clock out, just to make it simpler... but who needs simple. I like the creepy ghost clock.

I've been getting back into daily photo uploading on my facebook page

FAST.

I couldn't find any grommets that were big enough to handle the straps that I had, so I ended up getting some 1" plastic rings. I cut holes in the fabric and slid the ring in underneath and used the buttonhole stitch on my machine to secure them in place.

Cute bag, kind of want it to be larger?

this seemed way more important to compose than writing reviews did. i ate these over the course of the day.

iProcrastinate is a nifty calendaring app designed to help "lazy students keep track of their homework, big projects, etc." Right now iProcrastinate is only available to Mac users and requires Mac OS 10.4 or greater.

The first day of school is just around the corner, so this might be the perfect time to start using iProcrastinate--you know--while you're still ahead of the assignment curve!

Oh yeah....it's free!
