I should be studying, but I thought it would be fun to play with the camera on my new phone. I'm almost done my first semester of nursing. I have an intersession from the end of April until June that I suspect might be busier than the current semester. So, here's what my "Semester 1 desk" looks like. I'll try to do another picture at the end of the intersession.
but there are scenes "beyond" the events of Drastic Measures that are, for some reason in my head. Probably go on my blog.

It's well known that whilst student houses have something of a reputation for being dishevelled, you'll never find a cleaner place on earth than a student house during revision time!
Students of all ages will do ANYTHING to avoid revision, even things that they wouldn't normally do in a million years.
It's unusual for the art of procrastination to actually produce art, but this is a shot of the plastic cup pyramids that Year 12 were building in the Sixth Form Common Room. Ah yes, it must indeed be revision time. :)
This is what happens when I slack off and don't take pictures of what is coming in. I end up with backlog.

Quotes About Procrastination

Quotes About Procrastination Explanation
Our parents and teachers punish whenever we fail in our tasks but easily forgive us whenever we act that we forgot that task after deadline is over. The...

Actively procrastinating for Flickr Group Roulette. The procrastination pictured here is twofold:
1) I borrowed Heroes Season One from my best friend months ago--while still pregnant--to catch what I'd missed before Season Three started (I'd jumped into the show during Season Two). However, supreme procrastinator that I am, I didn't start watching the discs until the day of the Heroes season premiere earlier this week!
and
2) I left my refrigerator door open over night and now MUST to clean it out today. It kinda sorta smells (uh, strike that, it smells REALLY bad). I've been avoiding the nastiness of the job by watching a few more episodes of Heroes, snuggling with Ziggy, and--of course--taking my FGR shot for the day.
That was Nutella milkshake (one spoon Nutella, milk the rest, mixed with a tool to make cappuccino foam). Using milkshake to avoid doing the last homework of the school year (if I don't have to study in July -.-' )
And this is the famous mug I mentioned here.
Listened to the whole Band Of Horses discography and immediately fell in love with it.

This is me doing what I do best: Procrastinating!!
I've known since December that I needed to start studying for the GREs (again). I've also known that I need to apply to grad schools. On top of that, I also need to study for the Psych GRE test. Yup. Since December. It's now almost July. Do you want to know how much effort I've put into studying? Hmmm... I'd say, <1%.
I'm a horrible person!!
I *treat* people who procrastinate where I work, and I can't even get myself to stop doing it!! I know why I'm dragging my feet, it's because I suck at taking standardized tests. I'm a whiz in psych. I know a lot more than most people in my position just because of my job. I *love* learning (go ahead, say it, I'm a dork)!! But I **HATE** standardized tests! Especially ones that focus only on math and English. I'm ok with English... ever since I was in high school I've had teachers and professors telling me how well I write. It's just my vocabulary isn't so... um.. what's the word for it? (heh, just kidding). I don't have a vast vocab, and I know I need to bulk it up. I know the best way to do it is to do a few words a day... I've known this since DECEMBER!! --Actually, before that-- I just don't make the flash cards and do it. Well. I guess it's time to get cracking on this. Maybe I can use my 365 to help me out. What do you think about doing a GRE vocab word of the day? That way, I'm forced to learn at least one word a day (learn.. look at... same diff, right? haha). So that's what I'm doing to do. I actually got this idea from sitting in that chair and staring at all of those stupid books going, "how is my brain going to retain any of that??"
Help me out here people!! :)
Edit: i totally forgot to pick a word for today, I'm such a loser! hahaha this is going to go really well, I just know it ;-)
The GRE Vocab Word of the Day is...
Erudite:Adj very learned; scholarly.
Umm... I swear, I just flipped open a page and put my finger on that word. It's a sign (or a bad joke)!!

For Rogues procrastinating.
The internet. The greatest foe to the procrastinator!
Should be doing...anything but spending hours on Flickr!
This is what procrastination looks like. I have probably 10 other things I should be doing now besides taking photos of my orchids and posting them to Flickr. I think my son is close to being out of clean underwear (at least I know I am - is that TMI?), I need to study, walk the dog, write out bills, go to the grocery store . . . nah, those can wait!

These 2 men were ACTUALLY working when i approached them!!! I asked them not to take offence, but that i wanted them just to hang on their shovels!!!
Although I love flickr. Flickr and facebook (and tumblr) are probably the 2 worst inventions in the world when it comes to having to do work. I always end up wasting so much time on both and ending up having to stay up late/getting up early to do my work.
Got my haircut today, it feels so different, it's so cold on my head :(
Also, it is meant to be slightly out of focus.

If you have ordered your cards from Moo recently, then you know about this little coupon card, with a game called "Perfect Procrastination" that comes with the order. They've hidden ten top procrastination techniques in this grid, which I cut out and turned into a ring. You wanna play??? The other two photos show the letters better. I 'll post the answers tomorrow!
Working at my desk tonight for some reason I keep ending up in a trance like state looking at the bits of cat hair stuck to my desk lamp… They softly dance whenever there is a passing breeze and it's kinda beautiful.

I just got home from Germany. Lately I've developed a habit of taking a while to unpack (not to mention everything being all over the place). Basically a bad habit of procrastination.
Even though this photo isn't anything special, apart from the fact that I think the angle is kind of cool, I thought it would be nice to show myself again. Since I haven't for a while now.
so ta-da, there I am. :)
