As usual, James and his friend Cody procrastinated during the three months they had to work on their history project. Now, with only a day before their project is due, they go to James's father's garage, with is filled with all sorts of things, including a time-traveling Stargate, which he found in Atlantis. Unfortunately, Cody was sucked into the mysterious portal...

This is actually going to be part of a stop-motion I'm doing, for a history project.

Instead of working on my impending talk for a conference this weekend, or finishing my three fellowship applications (which would bring me $75,000) I plan to dedicate my time to photography. Over the last six months, I have been out shooting above and below water A LOT. But, never had the time to look at the images on my computer. So here I am.

This shot is from a fourth of July excursion to Point Lobos, and is dedicated to Jimmie and his love of anemones. Captured on the great pinnacle out of Blue Fish cove with a ripping current. Imagine trying to shoot a critter that is ~2cm big (tiny), while being shoved up/down/left and right by the current.

I did a tight crop of the original image to highlight the intricate details of the cup corals' appendages. I also applied the silver efex pro bw conversion to highlight the contrast in the anemone.

I have to get started on one of my Anatomy assignments on a case study about heat stroke. Im still trying to get used to going back to school. hmmmm I really dont feel like studying today.. There is laundry to do, yes i can fold clothes.. Wait a minute! I hate folding laundry.. but yet...... hmmmm.

In psychology, procrastination refers to the act of replacing high-priority actions with tasks of low-priority, and thus putting off important tasks to a later time.

From Latin prōcrastinātum, past participle of prōcrastinō (“defer, put off till tomorrow”) < prō (“in favor of”) + crāstinus (“of or belonging to tomorrow”) < crās (“tomorrow”)

Something I cannot do in my daily project. Say no to the procrastination.
