Results of my day of printmaking at the Columbus cultural arts Center

4-color photointaglio print. 8x10" image on 11x15" Canson Johannot paper. Four ImagonHD plates; CMYK separations made in photoshop. Printed with Akua phthalo blue (diluted 50% with transparent base), scarlet, hansa yellow, and carbon black inks. Still some issues with registration and contrast, but things are slowly coming along...

A different medium for me. This is a conceptual piece regarding the trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) and the intercession of Mother Mary, being symbolized by the roses intertwined around the triangle. Fall, 2014.
