Dear community,
it is friday and time again to present to you my newest MOC. The creation is a small vignette which shows a part of the plot from chapter 13: THE JEDI.
!!!ATTENTION: MASSIVE SPOILERS!!!
Here is the background story:
Din Djarin prepares for landing as the Razor Crest exits hyperspace and arrives at Corvus. Half of the planet appears to be green and forested while the other half appears to covered in darkness with red scars. Djarin arrives at the city gate with the Child hidden under his cloak. The gunslinger Lang recognizes him as a Mandalorian hunter and allows him to enter the city after Djarin confirms that he is associated with the Bounty Hunter's Guild.
The Magistrate tells Djarin to come forward, asking if he is a Mandalorian. After confirming he is one, the Magistrate tells him that she wants him to kill a Jedi who is plaguing them. When Djarin responds that this is a difficult task, the Magistrate attempts to exploit the historical animosity between the Mandalorians and the Jedi. Djarin replies that his price is high.
Later Lang leads Djarin and the Child out of the city gate. Noticing the Child huddled in the Mandalorian's pouch, he asks about the creature. Djarin responds that he keeps it for luck. Lang quips that the Mandalorian is going to need plenty of luck where he is headed.
Djarin journeys deep into the woods in search for Tano, using the coordinates provided by the Magistrate. While examining the trails through his helmet visor, he tells the Child to keep his eyes open. He places the Child on a rock and looks around with his rifle scope upon hearing a snapping sound, then deciding that it was a false alarm after seeing the indigenous beasts afar.
Just then, Djarin is ambushed from behind by a lightsaber–wielding Tano. Djarin blocks the lightsaber strikes with his Mandalorian vambraces and forces Ahsoka to fall back by unleashing his wrist-mounted flamethrowers, burning her cloak. Djarin manages to trap her with his fibercord whips. However, Tano escapes by utilising a force jump, flinging Djarin midair using a branch as a pulley and forces him to detach the wire, freeing herself. Djarin lands onto the ground and draws his blaster. Before the fight can begin in earnest however, He informs Tano that he was sent by Bo-Katan Kryze, effectively ending the brief duel.
Seeing the Child, Tano says she hopes that it is about the Child. She appears to be both surprised and delighted.

Here is a MOC SHOWCASE video on my YouTube channel, please have a look:
There are over 100 buildings left in the Wild West "ghost town" of Bodie, California. The Boone General Store is still full of products from the time, as if the entire town full of people just disappeared one day, or got up and left. When you try to look inside, you get reflections of the world outside, as if the present and past merge into one.
We'll schedule several night photography sessions once again in Bodie in 2022, as well as at least one interior access session.

Corps long de 25 à 35 millimètres.

I'm very comfortable handling all snakes except the poisonous ones. Here is Elmer's second snake plaything this week. I always rescue them but wonder if the cats teeth have infected the snake. Oh well it is a harmless and helpful Garter Snake so off it goes.
Tiny curling tendrils from a waning pink Spider Chrysanthemum at Smith's Lyman Conservatory. The show ended last Sunday, but most of the flowers are still in place. They're still lovely, as they gracefully depart, and their petals become more and more translucent and delicate. 🌸

He is my youngest sister's great grandchild, what a joy to hold a baby in my arms again..I worked with them for 28 years i still miss my babies
Found this on the floor outside my door this morning after arriving home very tired after working a night shift when the clocks go back. Nice bit of colour in a dreary, rainy morning x
I have been thinking of something I could buy with some money that I received after the passing of my brother and I decided to buy myself something that I didn't really need, but have been wanting for a long time. I decided to buy a secondhand Canon 1DX and whenever I use it, I will think of my brother whilst doing something that I love.

The present St Laurence Church stands on a site which has been used for Christian worship since the middle of the 13th century, when Scots King Alexander III erected a chapel in honour of St Laurence as a memorial to his late wife Margaret. The present building is relatively modern. Its foundation stone was laid on 17th August 1904 and the building was first opened for worship on 28th February 1906

Exhibition Anselm Kiefer - Sag mir wo die Blumen sind
For the first time in their history, the Van Gogh Museum and the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam are joining forces to stage a major exhibition of one of the most important artists of our time: Anselm Kiefer. The exhibition, which opens in spring 2025, places Kiefer centre stage. From his childhood, Kiefer has had a special connection to the work of Vincent van Gogh. To this day, Kiefer's admiration for Van Gogh is visibly present in his work. He also has a long, personal history with the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam. The museum bought and displayed his work from the beginning, giving Kiefer recognition for his art.
Especially for this exhibition, Kiefer has created new works that have never been seen before. Of course, popular favourites from the collections of both museums are also on display. At the Van Gogh Museum, famous paintings by Vincent van Gogh will be shown along with works by Kiefer. At the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, you will see all the Kiefers from the collection together for the first time. The title of the exhibition, Sag mir wo die Blumen sind, refers to the anti-war song of the same name by American folk singer and activist Pete Seeger, which later became widely known in a German rendition by Marlene Dietrich. The title also refers to Kiefer’s new work of the same name to be shown at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, and to Vincent van Gogh’s Sunflowers.
Anselm Kiefer (b. 1945, Donaueschingen, Germany) was born in the closing months of World War II. In the late 1960s, Kiefer was one of the first German artists to address the country’s fraught history in monumental, acerbic works for which he sustained intense criticism in his homeland. In the Netherlands, his work first gained recognition among collectors and museums like the Stedelijk. Later, Kiefer would be hailed for breaking the silence surrounding Germany’s past. His work reflects on themes such as history, mythology, philosophy, literature, alchemy, and landscape.
verdadeira e pura...
enquanto durar.

Iara, sinta-se sempre Bem-vinda!
E obrigada pela flor... :-D
