The General Atomics MQ-1 Predator is an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) which the United States Air Force (USAF) describes as a MALE (medium-altitude, long-endurance) UAV system. It can serve in a reconnaissance and forward observation role, and can also fire two AGM-114 Hellfire missiles at identified targets. The aircraft, in use since 1995, has seen combat over Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bosnia, Serbia, Iraq, and Yemen.

This predatory-looking stick loomed up and startled me in the woods. Maybe it is just that we are getting close to Halloween.

Predator!! I love the Predator movies ( the two first ones are good...AVP is pretty blech. Why didn't they follow the old comic series story?)

Hot Toys MMS72 Predator Major Alan "Dutch" Schaefer action figure from the 1987 movie Predator. It is an older figure and some faux leather have been deteriorated over the years and I am not sure if the rubber body still holds so I am afraid to take the top off to see it so, just keep as is is the best way not disturbing too much. When I saw the movie back then it was a culture shock and I immediately fell in love! 💖💖💖

This was just tinkering. I had a photo of @olzyproductions working the smoke at @streetmeetla, and the idea that he should be in a different setting popped into my head. So I pulled another image from my photo library and composited.
I guess I didn't realized how popular the Predator character was. I'd selected a site on a rural road to do the shoot. We'd just started when a car pulled in. This young man had see the Predator as they drove by and insisted his mom pull over so he could have his picture taken! Never underestimate the attraction of being big, ugly and vicious!
