This is probably one Predator that I've been looking forward to the most.
Ever since it was seen at SDCC earlier in the year, this has been very highly anticipated. Not only is the contrast of the reddish skin and nearly black armor coloring amazing but the mask is removable. It's still just the classic 87 Predator figure, only with two of the same knife holder forearms and a new mask but it's still an excellent Kenner styled tribute figure.
The new mask is very nice though thanks to the more open styled mandibles they used the snout section is a bit bigger than it seemed like it would have been. It's not bad, but with the dreadlocks being the shorter styled versions from the Predator 2 Snake Predator, it makes the snout look very long, almost like a dog wearing a Predator mask and it makes me wonder if the figure would have looked better with long dreads instead, maybe from the Shaman or Hippie Predator.
Over all though, while it turned out to not be the star of Wave 12, it's still excellent and I'm glad NECA decided to release this figure by itself rather than with the vehicle they planned to release this with.

Found in a shop on Amelia Island, Florida - a cool "predator" made out of bicycle chains, spark plugs, etc.
Cypraea tigris Linnaeus, 1758 - tiger cowrie (apertural view) (public display, Bailey-Matthews Shell Museum, Sanibel Island, Florida, USA)
The gastropods (snails & slugs) are a group of molluscs that occupy marine, freshwater, and terrestrial environments. Most gastropods have a calcareous external shell (the snails). Some lack a shell completely, or have reduced internal shells (the slugs & sea slugs & pteropods). Most members of the Gastropoda are marine. Most marine snails are herbivores (algae grazers) or predators/carnivores.
The tiger cowrie shown above is part of the Indo-West Pacific Province: "The world's largest and richest province extends from the Red Sea and East Africa across the Indian Ocean, then touches northern Australia and southern Japan to extend eastward throughout the "South Seas" to Hawaii and Easter Island. Probably 5,000 marine species are found in its shallow coral waters." [info. from museum signage]
Classification: Animalia, Mollusca, Gastropoda, Cypraeidae

the official soundtrack was released and only 3000 copies were ever made. Sort of elitist almost. I HIGHLY recommend this soundtrack though. If you need it i can help you.
