Took this using Two Flashguns in Manual mode, both fitted with Stofen Diffusers. Experiment, Flashguns fitted with coloured diffusers. The colours are very deep because I took three shots and
just changed the iso speed on the camera, then they were all loaded as layers in photoshop.
I hope this subject is ok for this dramatic colour!

Atop the sign for Stonehedge Lodge in Donegal Township, PA stands a steel Predator look alike.
On our dive the other night, visibility was quite low, maybe 2-3' at best to begin. But by the end of the dive it went even lower as thousands of young of the year silversides, each only 3/4-1" long, swarmed around us forming solid mass of fish. The writhing mass of fish totally flumuxed the auto-focus on the camera (not hard actually) but at the same time, made it near impossible for me to keep racking focus in and out to get a good shot.
Here I pulled the video light in close and focussed on the edge of the light, then lifted it a half inch, the fish filled in the space nicely and I had a pre-focused point to shoot at. A number of them turned out quite nice. Harder though was to get good clear shots of their predators, either they were moving terribly fast cutting through the mass (Adult and Juvenile Bluefish and Striped Bass) or they disappeared in or under the cloud of silversides with nothing to aim at or to focus on. Awesome, but frustrating at the same time. My dive buddy took his GF back the next night and reported that the activity was almost as heavy that evening too, his GF dove sans hood and was picking tiny sinver sides out of her hair the rest of the night.
This unusual-looking supercar was spotted in Carmel, CA during the Tour De' Elegance Car Show back in August of 2008.

Seen these two dressed up to look like the aliens from the Movie Predator. There costumes were made mostly from DUCK TAPE and they were standing on metal stilts under their leg parts around their knee's which made them look 7 feet tall.

The Predator is our run’n’gun stability kit for the Canon C100, C300 and C500*. The fixed LCD screen of the C100 camera particularly lends itself to this compact, simple kit. It is perfect for fast paced shoots and lightweight set ups.
The Predator starts with our Gorilla Baseplate. The rest of the framework attaches via a vertical post that connects to the underside of the plate via a quick-release ratcheting lever. A tripod plate can be installed under the Gorilla Baseplate via standard ¼ 20” and 3/8 16” screw holes. The Gorilla Plate has a 15mm port on the side to attach an accessory arm like the Standard Mount for our EVF. It also has two lightweight threaded rod ports on the front. You can add rods to hold a follow focus or mattebox.
The Predator includes an adjustable gunstock on a ball joint that can settle comfortably into the shooters chest to create a solid brace. The ‘handle’ portion of the Predator is ourC100/300 Grip Relocator. The Canon removable camera grip attaches directly to our Grip Relocator handle and our exclusive cable connects to the port on your camera. Once its plugged in, users have trigger or on/off control, lens aperture control, and a programmable function button that can be set to a number of things including waveform, 1 to 1 zoom, zebras, my menu, and many more. The cable is 24" long.
C100 Users: We recommend the Predator be used with our C100 Z-finder directly on the camera LCD. Our Z-finder will magnify the screen, cut out the light, and has a diopter to adjust for any eyesight issues. It also gives the user one more point of stability. Stay tuned for updates on this exciting new product!
*The Predator can be used on the C500 but you must have a C100/C300 grip for this kit to work.
Leaf-footed bugs (in several different species) have an interesting way of protecting themselves from predators such as birds: they mimic wasps; when simply resting, it is quite a stretch to imagine this resemblance but when the insects fly, and they often take flight when frightened, they make a buzzing sound that will make you duck, also have a reddish color on their back (hidden when their wings are closed), and finally, have large flanges that cause their hind legs to droop as they fly, giving the general image they present in flight as admirably wasp-like, which in case that doesn't work well enough and the bug is caught in spite of its disguise, it does have one more defense, squirting stinky liquid out of small orifices on each side of its body, the scent glands on their thorax
