Red legged robber fly.

The Yellow Mongoose, also known as the Red Meerkat, is a member of the mongoose family and was persecuted in the past as it was believed to be a predator of newborn babies. In the wild it eats insects, rodents, birds and lizards. This example is captive.

Wandering around the rock formations of Joshua Tree National Park one can find the most interesting forms to stimulate one's imagination.

Gulls and terns may be closely related, but it is not uncommon for the larger gull to prey on its smaller relative. Fortunately the tern managed to escape the attack.

The flight of a dragonfly showcases incredible agility and precision. Dragonflies are highly effective predators, with success rates between 95% to 99% when hunting. This remarkable hunting efficiency is due to their agile flight, excellent vision, and quick reflexes, allowing them to catch prey like mosquitoes, flies, and other small insects.

what is that caca piece right there?!?!?

memangsa hanya untuk mempertahankan hidup, tidak lebih dari itu

Of all the big raptors this guy is the probably most versatile., he serenely glides around almost unnoticed. but when he spots his lunch it's action stations! With a bust off speed and a deadly swoop it's all over in a flash! Lunch spectacularly acquired.,and with these lines and colours perhaps the name 'Super predator' fits him perfectly

Snipeflies are active predators and can often be found sitting head-down on fence posts or sunny tree trunks, watching for passing prey. They catch smaller insects in flight, taking them back to their lookout post to eat.

I noticed an unusual lift of Canada geese in the field I was driving by up in the Peace country. Found the culprit, he was massive, I quickly coupled the 1.4X to the 400 and this was the best I could get.

This shot, in contrast to the previous ones of a cute stone marten, shows its fierce predator side. This is the same animal as the cute one in the previous post.

The dragonflies are wonderful. They are very efficient predators, they can intercept prey mid-air, they can move each of their four wings independently from the others, they have near-360-degree vision with their eyes which contain 30,000 facets, each bringing in information about the insect's surroundings. Top of it they're beautiful insects :)
