UPDATED! I did not like the fact that the word ALONE was all by itself at the bottom of the bookmark. I added a NEW bookmark that has the words NOT ALONE together at the bottom. To see and use the NEW bookmark, please go:

You have permission to share the link to this bookmark, but not the bookmark itself. You do not have permission to sell the bookmark. It is to be given freely.

You may print this out to attach to prayer shawls you make and give away. It looks really nice printed on cardstock, hole punched, and ribbon added through the hole. :D

To do this, look above the image. Click on ALL SIZES. You want to make sure you are on the biggest size (which is 2"x6"). Then you can download the image and print.

November 24, 2019 - During evening prayer at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle in St. Petersburg, Bishop Gregory L. Parkes recognized the St. Jude Medal recipients from our parishes and missions. Through their generosity and loyal service to their parish and communities, these lay men and women have contributed greatly to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout our diocese.

Established in 1999 by Most Reverend Robert N. Lynch, the fourth bishop of St. Petersburg, the St. Jude the Apostle Medal is awarded to a lay member of a parish for distinguished and outstanding service. Casted on the medal are the Diocesan Coat of Arms and the image of St. Jude the Apostle, patron of this diocese.

Thank you to Ray Bassett of Maddock Photography for taking and sharing these photos with us! #courageouslyliving

So many opportunities for spectacular images at this bhuddist monestary near westbridge bc, but it turns out that they frown upon gawking photog tourists so the cam stayed in the bag.

Fajr Prayer is Healthy...

"And He it is Who made the night a covering for you, and the sleep a rest, and He made the day to rise up again"

[Surah al-Furqan; 25:47]

Certainly sleep is one of the blessings from Allah. At the end of a busy day a person looks forward to sleeping and regaining enough energy for the next day. Sleep is also important for good health and safety reasons. However, studies vary as to how much sleep is enough. Some studies claim 8-10 hours is a requirement for everyone. However, the Prophet Mohammad used to sleep very few hours in the night and used part of the night for prayer. Recent studies confirm that this may actually be healthier for some people.

Sleep is important for health and safety reasons. Lack of sleep can lead to mental illness, relationship problems, absence from work and even traffic accidents.

Researchers have found that people with chronic insomnia are more likely than others to develop several kinds of psychiatric problems, and are also likely to make greater use of healthcare services (Yang). Lost productivity due to sleepiness has been estimated to cost the national economy as much as $100 billion annually and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has estimated more than 100,000 auto crashes annually may be fatigue related (Yang). Because of this, some studies claim that 8-10 hours should be required for everyone. However, recent studies have confirmed what the prophet Muhammad did may be healthy for some people.

Must Be Viewed On Black Press ( L )

So we go into town and we pay 3 pound to have a walk around the local cathedral, were all happy taking average photos but i wanted to break the boundaries a little so i un bag my mask and start shooting whilst all this is going on theres only a night tour going on, for the general public with about 25 people walking towards me watching as i await my camera to stop Bracketing.

I was thinking O SHIT......

I remember watching this man pray in the shadows of a church in Nazareth, unfazed by the world around him.

It made me think of the quote...

"We can never obtain peace in the outer world until we make peace with ourselves."
