I received a prayer shawl from my cousin, JoAnn, for my birthday. She attached three medals to the fringe. Two of them were my Grandma Lucy's and one in the middle was from the Knock Shrine in Ireland.

I find peace outdoors and often in gardens. With God's creation all around me and no distractions from my phone or the internet, I feel closer to his presence. It causes me to pray thanksgivings as I wonder at his handiwork.

This is a very large piece and contains 11 crosses and other vintage religious medals.

I finally found a place that does decent medium format processing nearby (and reasonably cheap) so I'm switching away from digital for a while. This is my first experimentation with Provia 400x...finding out where its limits are. This dim light was certainly too poor for it, and for my technique. Though its a little blurred, perhaps the content can overide that.
